Aliyah Rain
_________"Where are we going? " I ask him. " Anywhere you'd like, where would you want to eat? " His glance falls on me.
" Well, there's a nice restaurant on the seaside and it's like 5 minutes away from here. Me and my parents used to go all the time, it's absolutely beautiful. " I smile at the thought.
" Then we'll go there, you just got to give me directions. " He drives down the road.
I give him the directions, until we hit in the parking lot. He parks and we both get out, " You know I was supposed to open your door for you. "
" I am very capable opening my door, plus you'd have to walk all the way to my door. " Id shut the door.
He'd hold out his arm, I'd take it. " You know, your one of the most stubborn women I've ever met in my life. "
" I'm not stubborn, I'm just very independent. " I laugh at my choice of words.
" Not stubborn, that's the biggest lie I've ever heard of I've heard one. " He opens the door for the both of us.
" You know you like my so called ' Stubbornness '." I walk through the door.
" I sure do, it's one of my favorite things about you. " He waits in line.
Blane asks for an outside table, and they lead us out there sitting us at a two seater table. Asking for our drinks, straight away.
I order Lemonade, Blane orders a Coca Cola. The waiter walks away, " Lemonade? " He makes a face at me.
" Don't diss it until you've tried it. " I make a face back, playfully.
" I'm not Lemon, just I think lemonade is sour. " He chuckles. " Do you think I'm sour, is that why you call me Lemon? "
He chuckles once again, " At first I did, but when I did start calling you Lemon it was because of your scent. " I cock up an eyebrow. " My scent? "
" You have a scent of Vanilla & Lemons, it smells amazing. " We get our drinks back, and they then take up our food orders.
" It's probably my shampoo & conditioner, that stuff smells good. " I take a sip of my lemonade.
I've used the same shower stuff, my whole entire life. It's my favorite smell in the whole planet, it just smells so good.
" I have no clue what it is, but it most definitely smells good. " He nods.
Our food arrives quick, and we begin to eat. Every so second, we raise up and talk. The food was absolutely delicious, I'm completely stuffed.
The waiter asked if wanted some dessert, both me and Blane said ' No, thank you. ' in unison.
Songs have been playing this whole time, but the one that starts playing immediately rings my ear. This is the song, that was playing the night me and Blane met at the ball.
" Isn't this the song? " Blane interrupts my thinking, " Yeah it is. " I nod.
We sit silently for a second before he asks. " Do you want to dance? " I look at him, confused. He clears his throat, standing up beside my chair and holding his hand out.
I smile at him, putting my hand in his as we head out to the little dance floor they had in the middle.
His hand went into mine, one going to my waist. My hand goes to his shoulder, we dance to the entire song.
Our eye contact is thick, it feels like we're the only people in the room right now.
His hand on my waist, feels like it's made to be there. Our bodies come closer together, my head falls onto his chest and both of hands fall to my waist.
