Aliyah Rain
________My heart races, listening to Blane tell the head of rules our story.
Our Story.
How much we hated each other, but at the same time we cared for one another.
I had let it slip out of my mouth earlier, to Lola that I fell in love again. Which was the truth, but I was terrified to admit it.
Hearing Blane say he was in love with me, made my whole entire body flutter.
He had that affect on me, mentally and physically.
The judge clearly was thinking, as me and Blane glanced at each other in hope. " I've decided, maybe it's time to ban this old rule. It's only about 1000 years old, and there shouldn't be any rules to love. "
" You two will make history over this, some may hate it and some may like it. But no matter what, I know for a fact..what you have is real. "
" I shouldn't be the one to decide if it's over. " The judge declares the meeting over.
I had to wonder how many people before had gotten murdered due to loving.
We all thank the judge, before walking out into the hallway. I give Lola a big hug. " Thank you for saving our lives, literally. "
She's saved me multiple times, she just doesn't know it. Like when she gave me, my engagement ring..that moment I was deciding whether I could stand another day without Laken.
" Oh, Aliyah there is no reason to thank me..your practically family and always will be. " She smiles at me, warmingly.
" As much as I'd love to chat, I'm sure you two better check out on your families. Maybe, each other. " She nods, giving me one more hug.
" Bye Lola. " I watch her leave, " Bye, my dear. " The elevator closes.
I turn to Blane, before wrapping my arms tightly around him. He lifts me up into his arms, my legs go to his waist as we hug in silence.
They were nothing that needed to be said, it was all that needed to be done.
He interrupts the silence, " I'm so sorry I put you through this. " His voice fell in a whisper. " It wasn't just you, I had a part in it as well. "
We kept our words quiet, only for the other to hear. Suddenly, I hear both my parents talking to Blanes parents down the hall.
Pressing my lips against his, before I got down to my feet. I grab his hand softy, leading the both of us towards the voice.
When my mother sees us, she runs and embraces us tightly. I don't even think I'm breathing right now, when my dad then Blanes mother joins in.
" How are you two still here? Alive? " My mother asks.
My well and alive guardian angel, literally.
I always knew Lola would be there for me, no matter what circumstances. She'd promised me that, when Laken had passed.
" Because of each other. " We say in unison, not even expecting to.
Blanes hand squeezes mine, before everyone lets us go. His mother looks at my parents then us, " I think this calls for a celebration? If everyone wanted too, the littles are wanting to see Aliyah again. "
" Personally, I'd like to get to know you both and your beautiful daughter here. If y'all aren't up to it, I'll completely understand. "
I'd loved to get to know Blanes mom, after all I am dating her son.
Before anyone could say anything, " Of course we'd love to! " Blanes mothers lips lifted, " Okay then. I'll prepare some food when we get home. "
Everyone went out to there cars, eventually after we all talked about nothing special.
Getting in Blanes car, we take off down the road. I know for a fact, I'm a better driver than he'll ever be. His hand on the gearshift, before going to my thigh.
I blink multiple times, before groaning. " You are absolutely awful, Blane Orson! " He bursts into laughter. " What makes me so awful? "
I shake my head, refusing to answer him. Looking out the window, at the trees above us.
Pulling into his driveway, he gently squeezes my thigh before we get out and walk in. The air is filled with pizza, maybe they ordered pizza?
They did, and oh my lord I love pizza.
If they're were one thing in the world, I enjoy it'd be good pizza.
I clap my hands, quietly while smiling big. My parents lean back in the chair, looking at me with a grin.
" Oh you did wrong, ordering pizza with the girl right here. " My father chuckles.
" Oh shush, you know I love pizza. " I step into the kitchen. Before I know it, my whole body is absorbed in kids.
Specifically, Blanes little siblings which I love so much. I bend down, giving them a hug.
They're all so small, it's so cute.
____________________________________We all sit next to a campfire outside, filling the air with laughter and soaking in delicious s'mores.
They're weren't enough seats, so I had to deal with sitting on Blanes lap. Who was currently hard as a brick, because I couldn't get comfortable.
His hands grip on my waist, and pull me back into his firm chest preventing me from moving.
It was about 10 pm, and I was exhausted almost falling asleep on Blane.
I felt arms lift me up, and start to walk inside as I feel the temperature change of the hot summer air to his cold house.
The stairs doesn't creek, or move when I'm carried up. Suddenly, I'm placed into the soft mattress in Blanes room.
I knew who exactly I was with, because of the smell on there room and clothes.
Not bothering to open my eyes, I drift off to sleep with the comfort of an arm wrapped around me completely.
