Hi...I'm alive! I'll have an explanation posted at the bottom <3 For now, enjoy~

They continued on their journey, heading towards the Leaf. Harumi's anxiety had excelled during this time, wondering exactly what they were going to do to Naruto if they found him. Not to mention that she had been unsettled by the way Panther kept grumbling within her. She didn't know what he was so upset about, but it was making her a bit nauseous. She patted her stomach in a 'relax' motion, but he didn't seem to want to.

Either way, she knew there was nothing she could do to stop their arrival there. She just hoped whatever they had to do would be quick and painless. They began getting closer to the village, up to where they were only about an hour away. She glanced at Itachi, wondering how he was feeling about entering their old village. Was it sparking feelings within him as well? She didn't know, but she wondered that if it did, how he was dealing with it. She then noticed a cliff not too far from the village, smiling. It was so pretty. So kind.

Itachi followed her line of sight, seeing the cliff. That was a mysterious aspect of hers. He didn't know why, but she loved falling from high heights. First, he was worried as he believed it entailed that she wished she didn't catch herself, but that wasn't it. There was a joyous look on her face as she fell, as though it was the sole moment in the world where she was at peace. He once asked her about it, and she just told him it felt like freedom. He didn't understand her, but there were times where her easiness of falling down cliffs came in handy.

There was specifically a time where she, he, and two other ninjas were chasing someone. Their target jumped over a cliff, and the other two ninjas who were older than them told them that they'd have to find a way down. He was about to suggest that they just run down the cliff, but at that moment, Harumi didn't wait for anybody to give her orders. She started running and jumped with no worries. He and the other two ninjas immediately went over to see what happened and what had possessed her to jump.

She was falling at a rapid speed, but she didn't seem the least bit startled. She just stretched her arms out, letting herself fall. She then turned midair, facing them. She winked, saluting them before turning back around. Just as she was getting dangerously close to the ground, she broke her fall with a wind style jutsu. Itachi was surprised at that moment. She didn't wait even a moment. There was absolutely no hesitation. She just jumped. He followed by running down the cliff, the other two ninjas soon following. She had run after their target, and fought him. She won by the time they found her, their target tied to a tree.

She grinned but pouted when the two older ninjas scolded her. She just told them she got the job done with no injuries. Itachi remembered finding it somewhat funny. She seemed to genuinely find nothing wrong with throwing herself down such a high place, but as long as she wasn't hurt, it was fine to him. They ended up getting dangos right after, laughing about the panic on the faces of the other two. She was a good ninja. Just judged by others, hence why many refused to work with her. Those who knew her knew she was a delight to work with. Smart. Fast. Strong. Strategic. Best of all, she always protected her comrades. First, he was worried she'd end up killed if she continued doing so, but she never did. She had the strength to protect them and she did.

He then noticed she stopped walking, making him turn to her with a questioning look. He noticed the dazed look in her eyes as she furrowed her brows, his eyes drifting to her hands that were fisted and shaking beside her. He felt bad, seeing her get increasingly nervous. He walked beside her, putting a hand against her back and pushing forward so that he could talk with her while they walked so Kisame didn't get suspicious.

Harumi stumbled forward at first, turning to him in confusion, only to see his eyes already on her. It felt like her reality was glitching. Staring at him right now reminded her of how he used to look at her, so softly and kindly as he talked with her. Then, there was the way he stared at her seconds before he tried to kill her. She tensed, her eyes widening a bit with fear as she turned to her pouch. She needed to make sure she was awake. She needed to focus on something else. She was searching for a kunai when Itachi grabbed that hand, not letting her.
