"Are you even lifting?" Enzo panted. The group of five were lifting the stone that was knocked over during the trashing that occurred last night. "I'm the only one lifting!" Kyla shot back at her brother. "Hey, so are we!" Sam whined. Before anyone could say anything else, Logan was the one to break up the fight. "Relax, guys."
"Excuse me." A voice said softly. "Is this Miyagi-Do?"
It was a couple of Cobra Kai students, from the mall.
Kyla didn't hesitate, she immediately strutted over to them. "You got a lot of nerve coming here. Especially after what you did!" She went to push the main teen, but Enzo was quick to grab her. "Easy, slugger." Kyla pulled out of his grip with an irritated sigh.
"Come for another beating?" Robby asked jogging up to the guys, just like Kyla did. "Robby, hey. Hey!" Daniel got in front of him to stop him. Daniel shot a quick to Logan, not understanding why the teens were so frustrated at the new comers.
Not only did the dojo get trashed, whoever did it stole Mr. Miyagi's medal of honor. With Daniel and Logan being like his sons, it held strong importance to the families. Everyone was on edge, some were just better at dealing with it than others.
Robby turned to Daniel while pointing to the new teens. "These are the guys that were beating on Demetri. Probably helped trash the dojo."
The unnamed teen in the middle immediately shook his head. "Hey, we didn't have anything to do with that." He told Robby, then moved his eyes to Demetri. "But we are sorry about the mall, though." Then moved his eye back to Daniel and Logan. "We just wanna learn Miyagi-Do."
Daniel didn't need to hear another thing, normally he would be more than happy to give them some paint for the front of the dojo, but that would have to come during the next session. Today, they needed to clean.
An hour had passed, Logan and Daniel really wanted Chris and Demetri to get the stone back up, so they can work together. Kyla had to admit, Chris was really nice, she was starting to feel bad for coming at him so harshly.
"Good job, guys!" Daniel smiled as the two boys were finally able to get the large stone up. "You see that? We all work together as a team, anythings possible."
Demetri made the first move and gave a high five to Chris, who was happy to return it. And just like that, the beef was crushed.
After the dojo was spotless, the teens started to pack up to leave. Robby remembered that Kyla really wanted to talk to him. Once he saw her at heading towards her car, Daniel called him. As much as he respected Daniel, the brunette acted as if he didn't hear him.
