"There she is." Daniel smiled as Sam walked into the kitchen. The brunette grew confused seeing Enzo, Kyla, Logan and Kennedy sitting at her kitchen table. "What's going on?" Sam asked stopping in her tracks, noticing that Kyla didn't turn around to acknowledge her. The last she had heard about her cousin was when Kennedy came over to bring the bag of her things, including Tilly.
It hurt Sam to say the least, sure she was mad at Kyla about not helping her at the school fight but she never would've thought that, that was enough to get rid of any evidence of their friendship. They got into arguments all the time, she didn't understand what was different about this one.
"Why don't you have a seat?" Daniel smiled at his daughter. Without saying a word, she took a seat in between Enzo and Kyla.
"We've been talking about how to deal with Cobra Kai." Logan started, earning an annoyed huff from Kyla. "You have?" Sam asked.
Amanda nodded at her daughter's question. "I'm sorry I got so mad at you for training the other kids. I didn't realize what you were dealing with."
"With everything you're going through at school with those bullies, we want to make sure you guys know how to defend yourselves." Daniel told the three teens.
"So, what're you saying?" Enzo asked, hoping they would hurry up and get to the point of the family meeting.
"Your dad and Daniel are gonna reopen Miyagi-Do. And, I'm one hundred percent on board." Amanda answered.
"Mom?" Kyla sent a look to her mom, she heard her parents arguing at the hospital. Alessia could only do so much. But her mom was very adamant about no more karate. Kennedy gave a soft nod of approval. "Me too."
Kyla shook her head in disbelief, how much convincing did it take for her to change her mind?
"So, what do you say? You guys ready to get back into action?" Daniel asked with a smug smile on his face. Nobody planned it, however, Enzo, Sam and Kyla stood up and said no in unison.
Before the three could go their separate ways, Logan and Daniel grabbed their attention. "What's going on?" Daniel asked.
"I'm not doing karate anymore." Sam said through gritted teeth.
Logan looked at between Enzo and Kyla. "I'm not doing it." Kyla simply said.
"Karate isn't the problem dad, it's-" Enzo was cut off by Sam. "Her psycho friend!"
Her jaw clenched as Kyla turned her head towards Sam. "You got a lot of nerve talking to me." Kyla was trying her best to not snap, not in front of everyone but she's had so much pent up anger since the party, it couldn't help but come out.
