"Still no practice today?" Enzo asked Kyla as he took a seat at the dinning room table, grabbing a bowl and pouring his cereal.
Kyla shook her head. "No, no. I'm still pretty sore." It wasn't a total lie, her ribs still hurt pretty bad.
The siblings sat at the table, silently eating when Logan and Kennedy sat down with them. "How ya feeling, Kyla?" Logan asked studying his daughters expression. She nodded. "Sore, but getting better. Slowly but surely."
Logan nods at his daughters words. "Obviously, we'll have to play it by ear, but I think you should be able to come next week." He informed her before taking a bite of his cereal. Kyla gave him a fake enthusiastic nod.
Enzo snapped his fingers, remembering what he needed to ask his sister. "Hey, do you still have my lightsaber?"
"Oh, yeah. It's in my closet. You can go get it."
The teenage boy inhaled the rest of his food then got up from the table. He was anxious that it wasn't back in the collection, granite, it wasn't his favorite lightsaber and it was the only one that Kyla was allowed to touch. It still bothered him that it was missing. As Enzo got up from the table, Kyla remembered that her gym back was in her closet, opened.
The red head got up and ran upstairs, as fast as she could.
Enzo, rummaged through the closet looking for the lightsaber when he comes across a familiar logo coming out of Kyla's gym bag. He picks up the Cobra Kai gi, a frown on his face as he examines the black and gold garment. Kyla immediately shut her door and went to the closet. Her fear coming true. Enzo turns around to face her, still holding onto the Cobra Kai gi in his hands. His expression is a mix of confusion and disappointment as he holds up the gi for Kyla to see. "Care explaining what this is doing in your room?"
Kyla shut the closet door. "I can explain." Enzo crosses his arms, his eyes fixed on Kylas. "I'm listening."
Here it goes, Kyla thought. "With Jasper still being in Miyagi-Do, I don't feel comfortable going back, so I joined Cobra Kai."
This only made Enzo's expression harden as he hears the explanation. He's clearly not happy about the decision to join Cobra Kai. "Cobra Kai? Seriously? You know what that place is like!"
"I..I know, Enzo. But I promise, I'm not staying there long." Enzo scoffs, running a hand through his hair. He started feeling frustrated and worried, but he also wants to understand. "Then why the hell would you join them in the first place?!"
"Jasper doesn't know Cobra Kai. That gives me an advantage!" Enzo's expression softens slightly as he processes your words. He takes a deep breath before speaking again.
