"Brandon is eight." Tory snarls in the unnamed woman. Kyla slows her pace, for one to have Tory's back if needed but also, they were blocking the door of the dojo. "And next year, I'll be eighteen." Tory bends down to grab her bag and walks past the woman.

But before Tory could get too far, the woman grabbed her wrist, making her stop. "Hey, who do you thinks gonna win in a custody battle? You're a high school dropout and a criminal."

"So are you."

"Yeah, but I know how to play the game. A judge is gonna take one look at you and laugh you straight outta the court room. See you at the funeral, sweetheart. Tick tok."

The woman passed Kyla, who scoffed and bumped her shoulder into her hard. The girl walks up to Tory. "You good?"

She shakes her head. Anger filled Tory's face, this wasn't just about her anymore. "My aunt just threatened to take Brandon."

"What?" Kyla eyes almost pop out of her head, she takes a look back at the older woman who was just now walking out of the strip mall. Her head turning back to her friend. Tory nods. "It's personal now."

There was nothing Kyla wanted to do more than hug her right now, but she knew Tory didn't want that in this moment. Quite frankly, Tory would probably snap her like a pencil if she did. Kyla nods, understanding the determination growing in Tory's eyes, trying to mask the fear flooding in. "I got you. Whatever you need."

Enzo strides over with a smile on his face, finally being able to see Tory. As he approaches the girls, he can feel the negative energy. His face immediately drops when he sees Tory upset. "What happened?"

Kyla starts to back up slowly. "I'll let you guys have some time." Then she opens the door and steps into the dojo. Enzo gently takes Torys hand in his, and to his surprise she doesn't pull back. "What's wrong."

Her eyes look everywhere but his, if she did she was going to start crying and she didn't want to, not right now. Since Enzo knew her like the back of his hand, he already knew and was okay with it. As long as she opened up, he wasn't going to force her to look at him. "I need help." Her voice was quiet, hating that she had to admit it out loud. He nodded, knowing that this wasn't easy.

Robby smiles when he sees Kyla walk in. "Hey." He greets. "Wanna spar before practice?"

She wants to say no, tell him off about shaving Eli's hair, falling into Kreese and Silver's trap. But, she has to play the part. "Sure."

Kyla and Robby get in the middle of the mat. They each take their positions, waiting for the other to make the first move. Kyla strikes first, launching a kick at Robby's midsection. He evades it and returns the attack with a quick punch, but she dodges it effortlessly and retaliates with a swift jab to his shoulder.
