Phara looked down at the 3 different white sticks that all read positive in disbelief. She lifted the one that was opened merely five minutes ago and saw the plus sign slowly appearing.
A droplet of water fell onto one of the tests, letting her know she was crying. It wasn't tears of joy but anguish. Her vision quickly became blurry from the tears filling her ducts and she couldn't stop the heaviness she felt in her heart.
"Phara?" Briana called softly from the other side of the bathroom door. Clearing her throat, she answered. "Yes?"
"Can I come in?"
"Um...Yeah."
The door wasn't locked, so all Briana had to do was open the door. She slipped inside and saw the state her baby cousin was in. There were four pregnancy tests on the counter and Phara was leaned over on it, her eyes red and face wet from crying. She knew she was pregnant.
"I- I can't. I can't tell him." Was all Phara could get out before bursting into another fit of sobs.
Briana hurriedly pulled her into her arms protectively. She didn't say anything, or rather she didn't know what to say. This should've been a happy moment. One where they rejoiced and cried happy tears. Only it wasn't.
She rocked Phara from side to side for what seemed like forever in her tiny hallway bathroom. She could hear her twin sons running up and down the stairs, probably raiding the refrigerator but she would deal with them later.
"How can I tell him this after..."
"Sshhh..don't worry about that. Right now we just need to set up your OB appointment as soon as possible and see how far along you are. We will talk about telling Prince the news later."

A/N: It's been a long time coming, HOPEFULLY not too long, but nevertheless I'm ready to continue Phara and P's story. You've waited long enough.
TQOH was my first full length "book" because I am usually a "shorts" writer and it's only fitting that TAOH should be my first sequel.
Bare with me as I bring this to you while also writing "Off Record", my second attempt at a full length book.
