I can't do this again.

After getting my thoughts together and eating lunch, I decided not to run away from this feeling. It hurt that he wasn't honest with me, but what was his end goal? To keep me and Nona? Well he had another thing coming if he thought so.

Luckily Briana had Amiyah for the weekend so I could get this handled right now.

Security was surprised to see me, but let me in quickly. They probably told Prince I was here, giving me less time to curb my anger in the car. Don't make a scene, just say what you need to say and leave. I get out and leave my purse in the seat because this wasn't going to be a long visit.

There were a few people going from here to there as I walked in. No one was at the front desk like yesterday so I waited patiently. A few minutes go by before Donna comes from up behind me. "Phara! Security just told me you were here. Would you like to wait in bosses office?"

"Is it going to take long-"

"Ms. Camille, I didn't know you were stopping by." Speaking of the boss. He stood on the last few steps with a small smile on his face.

"Yeah, I just needed to talk to you for a minute."

"Sure, Donna can you tell the band to start without me?" He asks, waving me over. She agrees and I follow him up the stairs, taking deep breaths. When we get to the top he takes my hand, intertwining our fingers. "What's wrong? You look upset."

"Um..we should talk in private."

He looks confused, but nods and leads me down the hall to his office. His grip on my hand loosened when the door closed and I pulled away. "I got a visit at my job today."
I walk past him to lean on one of the chairs. "She came by to tell me she had no hard feelings about me being with you."

Prince frowned, stepping closer to me. "Who are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about your girlfriend Prince. The one you forgot to tell me about. Marvin Gaye's daughter, whose younger and more beautiful than me. Is this some kind of joke?"

He moved his eyes to the floor with a sigh, running his hand down his face. "Phara...I was going to tell you."

"When? I would've liked to have known before getting involved with you. That's a decision I wouldn't have made if I'd known you-"

"You're right. I was wrong to pursue you when I was with someone else, but that's over, and I still want to be with you." He took another step, now staring in my eyes.

"How can I trust someone that started out lying to me? What was you intention? To have your cake and eat it too?"

"No baby, of course not. I wanted to break up with her to be with you. I've only wanted you since you got into the BMW. Please don't cry Phara, I'm sorry." His hand reached up to wipe my tears, but I moved my face, wiping them myself. Dammit I didn't want to cry. "This is what I didn't want to do. I failed already.."

"Be honest with me for once. What do you want from me?" I ask, not looking up at him.

"You. I just want you and everything that comes with you mama. I've always been honest about that. I need you Phara. I tried distancing myself and couldn't get a full nights sleep for two weeks. I think about you with every note and lyric I write. Isn't it obvious?"
