Karishma went to the reception and requested to know the room number allotted to Aly, but they wouldn't tell her due to privacy reasons. She tried really hard to convince them that she was Aly's wife and wanted to give him a surprise.
But they kept denying it over and over until Karishma took out her ID card and warned them that if they didn't give her the correct room number, they would have to bear the worst consequences.
Finally, they agreed!
On the other hand, Aly was all ready to go for a shower as it was already 12 PM and the function was about to start. But his cell rang in between, and he picked up without any delay.
"Jai Hind, sir. Yes, I'll meet you in half an hour," he said. With that, he ended the conversation and went into the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Karishma was standing right in front of Room No. 792, which was officially assigned to Aly Mary.
She looked at the bell in front and thought, "hum agar bell bajae ge toh shayad Aly hume andar aane hi nah de."
Thinking this, she took out a spare digital key she had obtained from the reception, unlocked the door and entered.
As soon as Karishma entered the room, she started carefully looking at everything until her eyes paused on the khaki uniform placed on the bed.
She steadily went towards it and glanced at the name written in bold letters on the black badge: Aly Mary. Her happiness knew no bounds.
She immediately grabbed the khaki uniform in her hands and caressed it, tears in her eyes. "Humara Aly, hume tumpe bahut garv hai," she said, hugging the uniform as tightly as she could until her heart felt content.
But by this time, she had already crushed the uniform into uneven creases, and she was sure her Aly would be offended by her careless behavior. Thinking this, she went directly to the closet to look for an iron, which she found, and she started ironing his clothes with sheer dedication and admiration.
Meanwhile, the sound of a door unlocking echoed through the silent room, but Karishma was lost in admiring the uniform until someone came out of the bath, half-naked, covered by a towel below his waist, wiping his wet hair with another towel in his hand.
He didn't pay any heed to the fact that someone else was in his closet until Karishma burned her hand, and a pain-filled "ahhhh" escaped her mouth.
This grabbed his immense attention, and his eyes fell on the woman who turned around in pain. The only words that left their mouths were:
"Aly!"
"Karishma!"Karishma's "Aly" sounded more like words said in affirmation of her embarrassment. She was guilty and humiliated to face Aly right now, such that she lowered her gaze to the floor within a second after taking a sneak peek at his face.
On Aly's side, he couldn't digest the fact that the name he pronounced was right in front of him. He was still hopeful that this was just another daydream, and in an upset tone, he laughed at himself.
"Another daydream," he said, as he was about to turn to the other side.
But a weak voice interrupted his commotion, "Hum koi sapna nahi hai, Aly, hum sach mai tumhare samne hai " the tense voice said.
Aly faced her with a poker face while Karishma gulped back her tears to appear strong and upfront. Letting, their eyes meet.
No one said anything. They were just glancing at each other. There were thousands of questions running through Aly's mind, but he remained silent.
On the other hand, Karishma wanted him to see the innocence in her eyes.
She was waiting for Aly to address her as his wife, call her his angel, or say any single word that could boost her confidence right now.
But suddenly, Aly took a step forward until he stood right in front of Karishma and poked his index finger on her arm to see if it was real. Truly, his fingers trembled to touch her.
Noticing this, Karishma grabbed his hand in her own and gently kissed it, as his innocent act gave her the determination that she needed to face him today..
"I love you, Aly," she said with a giggle, immediately caging him in a bone-crushing hug while Aly was still unable to digest everything that was happening around him.
"Humne tumhe bahut miss kia..." Her voice turned powerless as she burst into fits of tears, hearing those heartbeats she had been craving to listen to for the last six months.
The smile on her face grew bigger knowing that she was with the man she had wanted for so long. Her man, her Aly.
After a minute or so, Karishma raised her head to look back at Aly, who was glaring at her with his magical eyes—no, he was throwing darts at her with his dark stare.
But After today, Karishma was determined. Gaining some confidence, she tried to look back into his hazel brown orbs, which were now pointed directly at her face.
His gaze was sharply judging her body language with each passing second. But suddenly a little jerk from Aly loosened Karishma's grip on him.
Aly quickly inhaled a large amount of air, sliding his fingers through his hair in frustration. He tried really hard to control the vein throbbing out of his neck in uncontrollable anger.
All of a sudden, a vague picture of his pinkish-red, tearful eyes popped in front of her sight, making her remember those messy and cluttered hair strands leaning over Aly's forehead as he angrily asked her to leave his house, leave him, and live her life with Rehaan! Because that is the only place where she belongs.
"Dekho Aly, hum... hum tumhara wait kar rahe the, hum humesha se sirf tumse pyar karte aaye hai, humara vishwas karo," she quickly said in a terrified tone.
To which Aly's eyes browsed up in a dejected manner. "Please SI Karishma Singh..."
Listening to this, everything else he was saying got muted to Karishma's half-deaf ears as her mind replayed.
FLASHBACK STARTED
Aly ruthlessly stood in front of her and endlessly applauded her- "Tumne, 'The SI Karishma Singh,' ne kya hi kiya hoga meri life kharab karne ke sivaye?"
"SI Kar...ish...ma Sing...h," she repeated with tears in her eyes.
Aly shouted - "Haan, sirf SI! Kyuki tum sirf khelane ke kabil ho, na hi tum ek achi biwi ho na hi achi dost!"
FLASHBACK ENDED
KS heart flinched a bit seeing him being so merciless to her.
There by the second Aly realised that Karishma wasn't even listening to what he was saying he harshly grabbed her one arm and pulled her towards himself as he continued in a stern voice.
"Mujhe tumhari jhuti baato mai koi interest nahi hai karishma singh, tum mujhe pyar karti ho, nahi karti ho i don't even care!" He said this directly abusing her with his glare filled eyes.
You have hurted my soul, now you are nothing for me! Saying this he left her and these words echoed inside her brain once, twice but before third time.
But before he could leave the closet Karishma harshly pulled back Aly by his arm and forced him to stay by tightening her hold on him as hard as she could.
Jada hero mat bano Aly, jante hai humne galti kia hai aur hum uske ke liye hazar baar maafi mang chukhe hai aur hazar baar aur bhi maang sakte hai. Itna emaan zinda hai abhi humara. She said in a strengthened voice.
Par tum jaise apni zimmedaario se bhag rahe hona, vo ek dum galat hai! Hum aur yeh bacha zimmedaari hai tumhari. Aur tum hume dono ko chorke kahi nahi jaa sakte!!!!!
