Aly looked at Karishma, his eyes filled with a turmoil of emotions. Her question lingered in the air, heavy and unsettling.
He took a deep breath, trying to find the right words but struggling against the storm inside him."Karishma," he began, his voice strained,
"Tum chahti ho main apne asli jazbaat share karoon? Theek hai. Sach toh yeh hai ki main yeh sab kuch bardaasht nahi kar pa raha hoon." He paused, his eyes darkening with the weight of his thoughts.
"Rehaan tumhare aas-paas hota hai, aur yeh mujhe andar se maar raha hai. Tumhe uske saath dekhna... woh aadmi jiske saath tumne mujhe dhoka diya, uska tumhari life main hona... I can't stand it." He heavily expressed.
Karishma’s face softened as she saw the pain in Aly’s eyes, but she remained silent, letting him continue.
"Main itna toxic feel kar raha hoon apne khayalon mein ki soch raha hoon is ghar mein cameras lagwa doon, takhi mujhe kisi tarah se tum par vishwas ho sake." Aly confessed, his voice breaking slightly.
"Mujhe ab kisi par bhi bharosa nahi hai, Karishma. Har waqt yeh dar lagta hai ki kab Rehaan wapas aayega, kab tum dono ke beech phir se kuch hoga... main sach kahu toh apne hi soch se darr gaya hoon."
Karishma's eyes welled up with tears as she listened. She reached out to touch his hand, but Aly pulled back, shaking his head.
"Yeh koi normal relationship nahi lagta, Karishma," Aly continued, his voice filled with frustration and sorrow.
"Main tum par trust karna chahta hoon, but I can’t. Tumse pyar karta hoon, lekin Rehaan ka saaya humare rishte par har waqt mandraata rehta hai. Aur main ab iss rishte mein apne aap ko kho raha hoon, please kuch karo, please sab thik kardona" He requested.
Karishma felt a sharp pain in her chest as she heard Aly’s words. She had known he was struggling, but hearing it laid out so plainly cut deep.
"Aly... tum yeh sab kyun soch rahe ho? Tumhe hum par ab bilkul bharosa nahi hai kya?" She softly asked.
Aly’s eyes met hers, and for a moment, there was only silence between them.
Finally, he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper, "Karishma, mujhe nahi pata. Main tumhe dard nahi dena chahta, lekin yeh sab kuch mere liye bardasht karna bahut mushkil hai."The weight of his confession hung between them, suffocating and unbearable.
Karishma tried to fight back the tears that threatened to spill over, but her voice quivered as she replied,
"Aly, hum tumse pyar karte hein, sirf tumse. Rehaan ka humare beech koi matlab nahi hai... lekin agar tumhe hum par bharosa nahi hai, toh hum kaise aage badhenge?"Aly didn’t have an answer. He simply looked away, the silence between them growing heavier with each passing second.
But getting some courage Aly's voice trembled with a mix of frustration and pain as he finally asked the question that had been haunting him for so long.
"Toh tum vo reason kyu nahi bta deti, jisse tum mujhse dur hui thi, Karishma," he said, his eyes searching hers desperately for an answer.
Karishma hesitated, her gaze dropping to the floor as she struggled to find the right words. The silence stretched between them, heavy and charged with unspoken emotions.
Finally, she looked up at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of regret and sorrow. "Aly," she began softly, her voice shaking,
"Hum tumse door nahi, bas... khud se hi door ho gaye the. Sach kahe toh Har din, har pal, hum apne aap se lad rahe the, apne emotions se, apne decisions se."
