As Aly drove through the city, his mind raced with conflicting thoughts.

A little Flashback
Rehaan - "Tumhe lagta hai main aasani se haar maan loonga, Aly? Woh baccha mera hai aur main use wapas lekar rahunga, chahe mujhe kuch bhi karna pade."

The image of Rehaan's smug face and chilling words haunted him. Aly was shocked by Rehaan's audacity to come to his office and boldly declare that the child Karishma was carrying was his.

DEFINITELY, something is hidden from him by karishma !

Thinking this he recalled the painful incidents when he first discovered about the affair, the betrayal cutting deep into his heart.
Those doubts had tormented him endlessly, gnawing away at the foundation of their marriage.

"Yeh sab kya hai, kyu hai, kyu meri life sabki tarah sorted nahi ho sakta!" He asked himself in frustation.

He couldn't shake off the memory of that dreadful day when Rehaan had confronted him with alleged evidence of Karishma's betrayal. It was a stab in the heart, yet Aly had refused to believe it.
He trusted Karishma with his whole being, convinced that she could never betray him.

But now, faced with the uncertainty of their unborn child's paternity, all those wounds he thought had healed reopened. For once, Aly had allowed himself to hope that Rehaan was out of their lives for good.

Now, the doubts planted by Rehaan's deceitful words lingered like a dark cloud over his mind.

The idea that Karishma had been with Rehaan while he was away on training gnawed at him. He didn't want to be a fool again, blindly believing in what was presented to him.

"Karishma," he shouted as he parked his car on side. "Why do I love you so much." He screamed.

"Itni chot pahunchayi hai tumne mujhe" Aly muttered to himself in tears his grip tightening on the steering wheel as reminscined all his painful memories of her kidnapping and exposure of their affair.

"uss din se main khud ko kabhi sambhal hi nahi paya, aur ab achank se yeh baccha..." The turmoil inside Aly was palpable as he grappled with the conflicting emotions of love, betrayal, and the desperate need for truth.

"Mujhe kuch samaj nahi araha hai, Ab main aur nahi seh sakta, mujhe mere answers chaiye! Mujhe jana hai sach kya hai, karishma meri hai or I am dreaming with open eyes again" he chided with tears in his eyes.

Thinking this, he didn't even wasted another minute and reached home, he unlocked the door and stepped inside, hoping to find some comfort in the familiar surroundings.

But his relief was short-lived. Sitting casually on the living room couch, sipping tea, was Rehaan.

Aly's blood boiled at the sight. "Rehaan! Tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho? Tumhari himmat kaise hui mere ghar mai ghusne ki?"

Rehaan looked up, a slow, infuriating smile spreading across his face. "Aly, Aly. Tum itne gusse mein kyun ho, mere bhai ? Main to bas Karishma se milne aaya tha."

Aly took a step forward, fists clenched at his sides. "Meri family se door raho, Rehaan. Tumhe pehle bhi kaha tha"

Rehaan leaned back, his demeanor infuriatingly relaxed. "Relax, DSP. Tumhe pata hai, Karishma sach mein best chai banati hai. Lekin usne tumhara jo bewakoof bana hai, woh sabse best hai."

Aly looked at him agnoy - tumhari toh...
But before Aly could touch Rehaan he signalled Aly with his finger to not to touch him - no, no DSP sir, not this mistake! He mockingly stated.
