Jungkook was in the shower when his phone rang, resulting to him jumping out, dripping all over the apartment, with a small towel hanging around his waist.
"Hello?"
"Hello stranger!"
Jungkook laughed hearing Mingyu's teasing tone. "Hi! What's up?" he asked smiling.
"I thought about you and I was wondering if you would like to go for a drink tonight," Mingyu cheerfulness made Jungkook smile wider.
"Yeah, sure. What time do you want to meet?"
"Should we say around ten? I'll come and pick you up. I'll text you when I'm downstairs," Mingyu said excited.
"Okay, see you later. Bye," Jungkook chuckled as he hung up the phone.
Thankfully, he had a few hours to work before he gets ready. Normally he would stay home and work but since last night's events, he needed to get out of the house and drinking sounded like a good distraction. The thought of what he did last night, made his whole face burn from embarrassment.
He didn't want to go to the park tonight, he wanted to avoid seeing Taehyung again. He had found the next place he wanted to go and in about a week or two, he would move out and then he could leave everything behind.
--
Jungkook was looking out the window. It was five to ten and he was ready, waiting for Mingyu to text him he was close. He thought about going downstairs and wait for him but he was scared of the possibility that Taehyung might be there, just like last night.
He wanted nothing to do with him. He didn't even want to think how he was the only thing on his mind all day. He pushed all the not needed information to the side and starred at the night sky.
His phone vibrated and it was Mingyu telling him that he would be there in a minute so Jungkook put his phone in the pocket of his jeans and wore his jacket over his grey hoodie. He dressed casually, in an effort to make clear to Mingyu that this wasn't a date or something.
When he got downstairs, he saw the other man waving with a big smile and Jungkook smiled back, unable to not react to the boy's happy energy.
Mingyu looked so good. He wore black jeans, tight around his muscular thighs and a black leather jacket on top of a baggy white t-shirt, that gave him a kind of bad boy vibe.
"Hey!" he exclaimed, wrapping Jungkook in a hug.
Jungkook froze from the man's unexpected move but he then relaxed and hugged him back, appreciating his warmth and the fact that somebody was happy to see him.
"How are you ?" Mingyu asked in a soft voice, pulling away from Jungkook.
"I'm good, but let's go, I really, REALLY, need a drink," Jungkook replied and both boys started walking, giggling like little kids.
They walked to a small bar that they passed by last night. The one that Jungkook mentioned that looked pretty cool but he never visited. It was nice to think that Mingyu paid attention to what Jungkook said and took him there.
The place wasn't really busy since it was a weekday. There were a few people sitting on the bar. Jazz music was playing softly in the background and it was a perfect match to the warm low lighting. The smell of old wood and booze, made the place feel welcoming and cosy. The boys made their way to the back corner and sat down next to each other.
The waitress came and took their order but not before ogling both of them, running her eyes from one to the other. They were both quite good looking so who could blame her for giggling while speaking to them?
