"You are full of bullshit."
Taehyung froze in his spot. He turned around slowly, eyes wide, looking at the boy who was still sitting on the bed looking at him, eyes full of tears.
"W- what?" he mumbled. Did the boy knew who he was? Did he still remember him? "Jungkook? Do you know who I am?" he asked confused.
"Oh my god seriously?" Jungkook shouted. "You keep going with this bullshit?!"
"How is this possible?" Taehyung muttered to himself. This had never happened before. No human had ever managed to break free from his spell or resist it. But the boy had done just that.
Since their first encounter, Jungkook seemed to be fighting against his charm. He had resisted even in his dreams and in all honesty that was one of the things that intrigued Taehyung. It was a challenge for him. It started with the elder wanting to break the boy and make it bend to his will and now it felt like it was Taehyung breaking under the power the boy had over him.
"Jungkook, how can you still remember me?" Taehyung asked perplexed.
"Enough!" The boy could hear his heartbeat pounding in his ears as he jumped on his feet. His fists were painfully clenched and he felt like screaming. He had been a fool once more. He broke down like the weak, needy, little kid that he was and let Taehyung in and now he was paying the price; again.
All these stupid excuses about forgetting and wiping memories. Why Taehyung couldn't just admit that he didn't want to see him again. They fucked and that was it. He didn't need him to spare his feelings. He was a big boy, he could take rejection and honestly, rejection sounded much better at this point, compared to all these stupid excuses and blown out of proportion reactions.
"I've had enough. You should be able to tell me the truth but it seems you can't even do that. You don't care, I get it, it's okay, but at least don't take me for a fool," controlling his anger was tough but somehow, he pulled through. "You should go," voice steady even though he choked a sob.
Taehyung was staring at him, processing every word and thinking of every possible answer. "No. I can't go," he finally said.
"What?"
"I said, I can't go."
"What the hell Taehyung? I don't want you here, you have to go," Jungkook raised his tone.
Taehyung needed to calm him down. If Jungkook actually spoke the words, Taehyung would have to leave and he couldn't leave the boy, at least not for tonight or until he found a solution.
"Jungkook, please calm down and listen to me.."
"No, no, no. You listen to me.." Jungkook took big steps towards the elder, now standing in front of him. "You treat me like shit, you come and go whenever you please, you don't care about me or my feelings.."
"Jungkook, please.."
"No, shut up! Your intentions are pretty clear. I shouldn't have given you the extra time, I shouldn't have let you in.."
No, no no.
"You should go, I don't want you here anymore.."
No, no, don't say it.
"Jungkook don't.."
"Get ou-.."
Ring!
Both men fell silent and turned their eyes to the source of the sound. Jungkook's phone was vibrating, showing on the screen that somebody was calling him.
Taehyung let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as the younger made to go pick up the call. Thankfully, Jungkook didn't manage to finish his sentence, he didn't tell him to leave. He was able to gain some more time.
