Jungkook stretched his hands above his head and yawned. The moment his mind woke up, it started replaying the events of the previous night.
He groggily readjusted on the bed, taking a deep breath in. Slowly, he opened his eyes to check the time. As his eyes adjusted to the light, taking in the environment around him, he froze. He sat up, looking around. Jungkook wasn't in his room. He was in what seemed to be a hotel room.
There was a small window to his right, thick drawn curtains didn't allow any light to come in. There was a little lamp plugged to the wall next to him, shedding a subtle yellow, reddish light in a small spot around it and it was just enough for him to be able to make out what was happening in the room. His heart started beating fast. Why wasn't he home? How did he come here?
As he looked around, he noticed a small desk on the other side of the room, where there was no light at all. A figure was scrunched over the table, face buried in their hands.
"Tae- Taehyung?" Jungkook whispered, his voice shaking.
The man didn't move. Jungkook tried to move slowly and get out of bed.
"Stay there," a strict voice sounded making the boy freeze.
The man sighed and got up dragging the chair with him and moving closer. Jungkook's heart was beating wildly in his chest. As the man came closer Jungkook let out a sigh of relief realising that it was indeed Taehyung but he looked different.
He looked tired, his face pale and his movements slow. He placed the chair in a respectable distance from the bed and sat down.
"Tae," Jungkook smiled and made to go towards him.
"I said stay there," Taehyung raised his voice, making Jungkook freeze.
"Tae..What is ha-" the boy stuttered.
"Who send you?" Taehyung demanded, his voice cold, sending shivers down the younger's spine.
"What?" the boy breathed. He was suddenly cold, as if all the warmth in the world had gone away. Why was Taehyung treating him like that? What was he talking about?
"I asked who send you. Who do you work for?"
"I don't understand.."
Taehyung laughed sarcastically but his voice didn't have it's usual warmth. "So you don't understand. Okay," he clicked his tongue sucking a breath. "Who taught you to do that?"
Jungkook was at a loss. He didn't understand. His mind was searching for the events of last night trying to understand what he did wrong. "I- I don't know what you are talking about", he replied sheepishly.
"Fuck, Jungkook. Don't you know what you did?" Taehyung shouted and tears pricked the boy's eyes.
"N-no," he whimpered. He was scared but most of all hurt that Taehyung treated him that way.
A sigh sounded from the elder and he buried his head in his hands again. Taehyung was exhausted. The events of last night had took the best of him. He got no rest, he was weak and he desperately needed to feed.
"Taehyung.." the boy whispered in between subtle sobs. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
Taehyung felt like crying himself. Instead of wondering about his own safety, the boy asked if he was okay. He was either innocent and all this was a giant fuck up or he was the best actor ever, in need of an oscar nomination.
"You bound us.." the elder breathed weakly.
"What?"
"You bound us Jungkook. Meaning you created a fucking bond between you and me, making us stick together until the day one of us dies. And guess what. If you die, I cease to exist or if I'm gone from this earth, you will be gone too. Doesn't that sound fucking great?"
