"What the fuck Taehyung?" Jin sighed, throwing his head back on the cushion of the chair he was sitting on.
Taehyung was sitting on the couch next to Jimin, scrunching forward, arms on his knees and head hanging low. He felt exhausted.
"Tae you have to feed. You look like shit," Jimin commented, stroking Taehyung's back.
"I know.." Taehyung whispered, avoiding to look at them.
"So why don't you do it?" Jin replied. "You know how exhausting bonding is for us. You need to feed immediately after and it's been almost two days since it happened."
"I don't know if I can.." Taehyung sighed.
"Why?" Jin looked at him annoyed.
"Come on Jin, cut him some slack. I mean the blood-bag bound him without his consent. No wonder he doesn't want to be near him yet," Jimin said, making a disapproving face.
"It's not that and don't call him like that.." Taehyung was tired but the edge in his voice was clear. "He didn't do it on purpose and in all honesty, I don't think he has realised what happened. But my trust is not on him yet and I don't trust myself around him either.."
All three of them fell silent to that. Jimin was the one to break the silence.
"But fuck Tae..I mean fucking a human? Really?" he said, shaking his head. "There is a reason we follow certain rules. What were you thinking?" his voice was soft, full of concern instead of judgement.
"I can't talk about it now. I need to rest.." Taehyung stood up and turned to leave, stumbling all the way to the stairs. His breath was short and he was paler than usual.
He made it to his room but not before he stops in front of Jungkook's, wondering what the boy was doing.
He clenched his jaw and went to his room, falling on the bed and sighing into his black satin sheets.
--
Unpacking and familiarising himself with the space didn't take Jungkook more than two hours. He took a shower, wore his grey sweatpants and a white buggy t shirt and sat on the desk trying to work. He was tired but the change of environment had him up and running filled with adrenaline.
Out of habit he looked out of the window just to realise that the seaside he stared at wasn't the real thing, so he checked his phone and realised that it was around dawn and the sun had come out.
He felt hungry and thought that the kitchen was probably empty by now. He wanted to avoid meeting anybody when Taehyung wasn't around.
It seemed that Taehyung had informed them about Jungkook's presence but still, better safe than sorry. He opened his door trying to see if he could hear any noises from downstairs but there was nothing. He moved reluctantly, climbing down the stairs and pausing every few steps, trying to hear if there was any sound.
The living room and the kitchen were empty and it made Jungkook sigh in relief.
He made his way to the kitchen looking for something to eat. He took some bread and some ham, made a sandwich and ate it hastily. His actual goal was something else. He opened the cupboards carefully, looking around, and on his third try he found what he was looking for.
He took the bottle of whiskey and felt like kissing it. It was the most familiar thing he had encountered for the past few hours.
He took out a glass and filled it up smiling and turned around to sit on the counter eager to enjoy it but he froze when he realised there was someone there watching him.
