"You are not even going to look at me?"

The room was pitch black, as it had been for the past few weeks. In the middle of the bed, there was a figure. Taehyung had his back against the headboard, hugging his knees, his head hanging low, hidden from the eyes of the woman that was leaning against the wall close to the bed.

She took in Taehyung's state and sighed. Her presence hadn't really changed the mood of the room since the day of the accident. Taehyung refused to talk to her, lost in his own thoughts. He wanted to be left alone but people kept coming for him.

A soft rap on the door made the woman turn her head towards the source of the noise. With a low cricking sound the door opened and a ray of warm light broke the stifling darkness of the room. A head peered in shyly.

"Can I come in? I want to see my sweet boy," Huimang said in a soothing voice.

"Sure, if you find him, let me know.." the other woman said dismissively, waving her hand.

Huimang walked in and looked around, feeling the mood in the room.

"Well, that won't do. You need to let some light in, that's why you are being cranky like that," Huimang squinted, looking around, trying to find the remote for the screens.

"Don't think it's going to change much. He hasn't talked and didn't even look at me," the other woman replied, as if Taehyung wasn't there.

"He just needs time and a bit of light to make him feel better! There we go!"

All the screens around the room changed from pitch black to the full moon mode.

"Are you serious? That's what you meant by light?" the other woman looked at Huimang with disbelief.

"Well, I didn't want to overdo it and shock him. Jin told me he has been sitting in the dark for days. What did you expect me to do? Turn it to full sunlight mode?!" Huimang shrugged.

"I wish you would.." Taehyung's raspy low voice made both women snap their head towards him.

"What was that Tae?" Huimang asked softly.

"I wish you would let some sunlight in.. I would sit here until I sizzle.." Taehyung's voice faded as he finished his sentence.

An awkward silence fell in the room and the two women looked at each other, their expressions those of worry and concern.

"Those are the first words you choose to say to your sister that you haven't seen in ages? I ask you what's wrong, why you are like that, I've been standing here for half an hour waiting for you to even spare me a glance and the first thing you choose to say is how you wish to die? Are you serious?"

"Yoona.." Huimang looked at the other woman and shook her head softly.

"If you can't get some actual sunlight in here then just leave me alone.." Taehyung's tone was heartbreaking for both of them.

Yoona hid her face in her hands, letting out a long exhale.

"It's best if I leave you two alone. This sounds like family business.." Huimang made her way towards the door.

"Why? What are you?" Yoona looked at her with a tired expression.

"You know what I mean. It's more of a siblings kind of thing," Huimang walked towards her and leaned in "be nice. He is hurting a lot," she whispered on the other woman's ear and walked towards the door. "Hope to see you before I leave Tae, I missed you," with that, Huimang closed the door.

The familiar silence spread across the room again. Yoona took a chair and placed it on the side of the bed, next to Taehyung.

"This is so unlike you Taehyung. I really don't understand what's the problem here.."
