Darry's POV: Friday, July 12th
So the other day child services came and checked his whole house and both of us. And then they gave us a baby. To foster.

Me and Tommy have been having awful baby fever this whole summer, but it's not ideal for either of us to be pregnant because I'm playing football and it would be hard for him to work and be alone pregnant.

But we really wanted a little baby to call ours. So the hospital he works at gave a baby off to the police who are letting us foster her.
Right now we're over at his house introducing her to his family.

"Now how did this happen again?" His mom was beyond pleased.

Tommy began,"Well me and Darry have had terrible baby fever this whole summer. And my coworkers were basically like, 'well Tommy you seem like a pretty fertile guy. Why don't you get your boyfriend pregnant?' And I was like, 'he goes out for college he wants to play football.' But if they knew Darry they would've probably said that the other way around. So then they were like, 'well then you get pregnant!' And I was like, 'right now, I don't think I wanna do that. I'd be alone and having to work a lot. No."

Then he explained to her the process, "And now she's our little chocolate. We love her to death already. I can't remember the last time I put her down." He pouted.

"What's her name?" Eve asks, that's his littlest sister she's gonna be a freshman this year.

"Makylee." I answer.

They coo.

"Oh Makylee's a gorgeous name." Mr. Thompson decided.

"She's a gorgeous little girl." Ally told him. That's his middle sister, she's gonna be a senior this year.

We continued talking for a little while until he said, "Darry, I'm gonna feed her while you drive. We've gotta go guys we haven't told his family yet. And we have another secret to tell them."

"Oo, what?" Eve glanced between us.

"I'm moving in with Tommy." I smile.

His parents gasped, and then his mom frowned.
"Aw, your parents are gonna be heartbroken. It's hard having your biggest bean leave."

I shrugged, "my parents have a million boys at their house all the time because of my brother's friends and boyfriends. It'll be like I'm not even gone."

"They're gonna be a lot more sad than you think Darry." His dad assured.

But with that, we said goodbye and got in the car. He started feeding the baby and she wasn't done when we walked inside.

I had already told everyone to come, but Mom and Dad were the only ones downstairs and they were eating lunch.

"Oh my Gosh." Dad cooed.

"who's little girl?" Mom looked at me so hopeful.

"Can I hold her?" Dad asked.

Tommy passed her and her bottle over.

"Oh my gosh, she's bitty." Mom cooed.

"She was born June twenty-ninth." I tell them.

"So she's barely two weeks old?" Dad frowned.
