Darry's POV: November 30th, Saturday
Do you know how good it felt to go to sleep in the arms of Tommy? And wake up in his arms too.

When I woke up he cooked home breakfast and decorated beautifully. This is why he's going to be my husband.

We picked out clothing for each other, and did each other's hair.

He didn't feel like putting in his contacts and wore his glasses today, they fit him just like how they did in high school. Perfectly.

He gives Makylee medicine and we both get her ready. She seems a little more comfortable now that she's had medicine.

"Can we run by your parent's house really quickly?" I ask him. The box with the ring is in my jacket pocket.

"I actually need to run by your parent's house." He smiles.

"That's fine, but I need to invite your parents over." I tell him.

"Why?"

"I have to talk to them about something."

"Okay." He looks away. I think he can tell I'm lying.

I text his parents, He won't let me go over there, could you make it to *address by 12pm?

They agree and I stall a little so that by the time we get there hopefully they'll already be there.

I convince him to let me drive. He holds my hand.
I enjoy hearing Makylee babble to her toys.
It breaks the silence and opens my heart.

When we get there my plan has worked and his parents are inside. Everyone else is here too. Perfect!! His sisters and all my brothers.

We can only say hi before everyone either pauses or smirks.

"What?" I turn around.

Tommy smiling back up at me from the ground. He's down on one knee.

"Will you marry me?" He asks.

I take the box out of my jacket pocket and open it, "you stole my line." I grin.

His mouth falls open and he stands up.

I turn back around.

"Why didn't you tell us?" We whine.

"What did you want us to say? 'Tommy or Darry wants to marry you, so don't propose first!'" His mom shrugs.

"Ok maybe not." I admit.

"Exchange?" Tommy looks at me.

We switch rings and I slip it on and smile before we look at each other.

"Are you in debt?" I ask.

Everyone gasp a little.

"'No! Are you?" Tommy laughs.

"No. I just asked because this a Darry ring. And it's blinged out. I mean-"

He takes me hand and holds it up to my face, "I got it right! The blue diamond in the middle is the exact same color as your eyes!" He cheers.

Everyone "oooo"s.

"How many diamonds are in it?" I ask.
