28 | Double kill.

Audrey was over the moon knowing that the little legs that have been kicking her belongs to a girl, but Neil? Oh please. She never saw him so happy, it made her tear up even when she thought about it for a quick second. As they finished cleaning up after the short party, Lim realized how overstimulated and tired she was, so when she finished with organizing the cups back into the shelf, she grabbed her loose clothes deciding to take a relaxing shower.

Obviously Melendez knew her well enough to see how exhausted she was, so he wanted to make it easier for her by doing some easy small stuff that he knew takes up lots of energy from her. He poured some water onto a glass and got all of her medicine on a small plate. He already made the bed ready so she can finally rest, and not only he got her glasses near, he also refueled her contacts water in the container. It took long enough till Audrey went out of the bathroom, which made him grin almost immediately.

- Oh my God you're glo-wing!- He chuckled pulling her closer by her waist and kissing her lips softly.

- Stop..- She blushed and giggled, touching her slightly swollen stomach onto his. They were saying some cute nicknames and chats to each other, until a weird feeling took over her eyes and the back of her head. She looked around, not confused but..dazed, disoriented. It didnt click to her mind as fast as it did to Neils.

She's having a seizure aura.

- Okay, it's okay sweetie..- He began softly seeing the tiny onset of panic in her eyes.- Why don't we get you to the bed alright?- His voice was soft, calm, as he guided her towards the bed.

- I don't..- Lim began to get into a fight and flight response, almost like a kid lost in a store. She had no idea what's going on whatsoever, since the seizure was starting very slow. Neil softly fixed a strand of hair behind her ear.

- Try to focus on breathing mi amor, I've got you both baby..- He whispered as he fixed a pillow behind her head.- You're okay guapa..- Neil knew she was getting more and more disconnected by every passing second, but it didn't stop him at all. She was scared, and Melendez would do everything to help.

Audrey was still conscious so he already had a feeling it would be a partial seizure. He looked our for the signs of any fidgeting of different kinds, and there it was. Little lip biting and smacking along with bearly visible eyebrows twiches were the seizure activity that she felt coming.

- Could you give me a little nod if you hear me Aud?- He softly asked rubbed her fist, but obviously nothing came as a response.- Or..Speak fluent Italian if you can understand me?- Neil tried to make a light out of the situation. They were both used to it, so it wasn't a state of panic for any of them. It was a slow process, and he perfectly knew that desperate tries to speed it up won't change a thing so he kept hugging her making sure she feels at least safe. A quiet grunt let go of Audrey's mouth once her legs began to tense up a bit. It was a good sign whatsoever, but Neil knew she's probably coming back and is so disoriented.

- Hello..- Melendez smiled softly fixing a strand of her hair but didn't stop rubbing her bump since he knew how much it calms her down.- You back?- He helped her to scoot down so she can lay back. Audrey answered with a disconnected head nod while staring at his face absolutely blank.- Heey?..- He rubbed her cheek softly. They were both already used to it.

- Yeah..- It was more of a mumble than an actual word but it was enough for him. Her body was less and less stiff, and she wasn't fidgeting as much as before.

- Can you tell me your name sweetheart?- But there was nothing from her. She was still out of it like hell, and it seemed that staring at a wall and biting her bottom lip was the most decent thing to do.- That's alright you'll figure it out on the next three to five business days..- He chuckled to himself kissing her head softly. It always took her a while to fully come back to the surroundings. Sometimes a longer while sometimes a shorter.

Audrey woke up quite early feeling thousands times better than the night before. She had a emotional roller coaster at the baby shower which caused it all. Gladly she didn't remember much, but she figured much after feeling that she must've bit onto her tounge hard during the seizure. Neil was still sleeping, which was usually the other way around. She was making some mint tea to at least try not throwing up first thing in the morning. As she poured the boiling water into the cup and slightly leaned against the kitchen counter she unconsciously smiled to herself feeling the finally tiny existing bump.

With the freshly made tea she sat on their balcony listening to everything around her. Audrey finally felt happy and at peace for the first time in ages. Obviously now she still felt a bit queasy from the episode earlier but it didn't change the fact that she was together with her soulmate, and expecting a dreamed little girl. Her nails repeatedly tapped the cup as she felt a hug from behind, followed by a soft kiss on the cheek.

- Guapita..You okay? It's early as hell.- Melendez was worried, as always. Lim loved these little details about him, every each one of them.

- Yeah. Just couldn't sleep any longer, sorry if I woke you up.- She rested her head back onto his chest. A blush appeared on her cheeks as Neil knelt down placing both of his hands on her stomach.

- Even if you did that's nothing to apologize for baby. Right little one?- He kissed her a little rounded belly and felt some soft movements underneath his palms.

- I think that's a yes..- She chuckled.- I had a seizure last night didn't I?..- She only made sure.

- Yep. You alright now though? No auras or partials?- Audrey shook her head as a response but before anyone could keep the conversation they heard a door bell to the door.- This early? What the hell?- He chuckled as he stood up. Audrey put down the mug and followed him to the door. When Neil looked through the Viewfinder he turned back to facing Audrey with not so much of an amused face.- You..Might want to check.- He sighed. Lims worry grew as she heard his tone of voice getting closer to the door. When she looked through the viewfinder she reacted almost the same as Neil.

- What the hell is she even doing here?- Audrey said obviously shocked in a whisper..
