"You're my home & my adventure all at once."

Alexa Sinclair"Is this cute?" I turned around, showing Tom a pajama set, he smiled.
"On you."
I was asking in general, but that works too.
My eyes scanned over the shorts, pulling at the material. I quickly put it back.
"What was wrong with them?" He looked at me, with confusion.
"I think i'll find something better, that kind of shorts ride up a lot." I explained, walking through the clothing section at target.
"Hey." Tom pulled me back, I returned his look of confusion.
"What is it?" I rolled back on my ankles, he laced our fingers together. "Are you not comfortable with me? Is that what it is?"
I shook my head. "No, I-I just..." I couldn't find the right words, the longer I stammered the worse his expression got.
"They ride up my ass, and my underwear is really uhm... well it's more of a thong but like not for anything—well, yeah."
"You sure?" To my surprise, he didn't make a comment about my underwear.
"I'm sure, I promise." I squeezed his hand, he dropped his guard, pressing a kiss to my forehead. My insides are actually doing little dances, as we speak.
"Good?" He questioned, pulling apart from my head, I nodded.
"Good."
I moved onto the full length pajama's, nothing too tight, because then he can still see them.
I picked a pair of plaid striped pajama's, matching it with a tank top i'd found on one of the shelves, moving back to Tom.
"You're not going to buy anything?" He was only following me the entire time.
"Ah no, i'm gonna sleep in my boxers."
"Are you sure, it could get cold at night?" I worry about his immune system.
"Then I know who'll keep me warm." Tom poked my side, it's true, i'm like a furnace.
We got some snacks, moving to check out. I tried to get him to use my card.
He didn't let me.
I argued with him a little, but decided not to beat myself up too much about it.
He spends money like it's nothing, it's beyond me, but like oh well.

I was laying in between Tom's legs, my back pressed to his chest, with his hands settling on my bare stomach.
"Tom." I looked up at him, stopping whatever we'd been watching.
"What's up?"
I tapped my fingers against his thighs, uncertain of whether or not to say anything.
"When we go back home... is this just a road trip thing, or what?" I've been thinking about it since he kissed me... I don't know, he doesn't really have girlfriends, or anything of the sort.
