-bonus to the epilogue-I trilled my lips, tapping my fingers against my work desk.
I never started school as soon as I anticipated. I was needed more around the house, rather than in an office... and we didn't have any issues with money.
I finally took school up again after about a year after Melody was born, and now i've been working at the firm for almost seven years now.
I'm an attorney and sometimes it sucks.
I checked the clock, staring at it until it hit 8pm. That's when I heard all of the surrounding office doors open.
I immediately stood, gathering my things.
Boys should be sleeping by now, even though they're probably not... Melody will probably have Violet over, which means time to myself until Tom gets home.
Fantastic.

"Mellie, did you get your brothers to bed?!" I shouted, marching up our staircase.
"Mom, you're home?!" Her voice sounded panicky, oh what did she do?
I birthed that child, I know all of her voices and exactly what they mean.
I made a beeline for her bedroom, knocking twice. I waited for her to tell me to come in.
"So, listen, I did a thing." She had her back turned to the door.
Violet was sitting in the vanity chair, and i'm about to panic as well. What did she do?
She turned around, a sewing needle poked halfway through her nose.
"I would have taken you to get it done professionally." I sighed, taking a couple steps forward, tears gathered in her eyes.
"I didn't know I wasn't supposed to use a sewing needle, I thought it would be fine but it hurts like really bad."
I could have told her that.
"It's not as bad as it looks, we were going to do her belly button but then she chickened out so we settled for her nose." Violet added, Melody glared at her.
"I'll do it for you, come here." I motioned for her to come closer, her eyes widened.
"You can look at it, but you're not touching it. It'll hurt mom, like seriously!" She warned.
I nodded, taking a couple steps forward.
She was two inches taller than me now, it's all Tom's fault. He's a giant.
I held onto the rim of her nose, the placement was fine... it was pretty red though.
I pressed my lips together, knowing it would be better if she didn't expect it.
I pushed the needle in all of the way.
Her eyes widened.
"There, all done, do you have the jewelry?" I questioned, Melody's brows furrowed.
"Why didn't it hurt?"
