"Smile if you wanna have sex!"

Alexa Sinclair

I hate when he has to go.

"I'm so sorry I have to leave today, i'd stay longer if I could." Tom held both sides of my face, pulling me into an everlasting kiss.

"I know you would, it's okay." I pressed my lips to his forehead next.

"Did you have fun last night? I really wanted it to make up for today." He questioned, while engulfing me in a hug now.

We did a little date type thing last night, since today is Valentine's Day and he has to go.

"Yes, lots of fun." I smiled against his chest.

"Tell Joe i'm sorry again, and that he has to forgive me someday." Ugh, right.

My dad's been ignoring both of us.

"I will. Now go." I squeezed his butt, with a harsh tap.

Well, more like a slap.

"Don't die in the week that i'm not here." Was the last thing he said, giving my hair a tug before taking his departure.

I feel like a worried wife as he got onto his bike.

Knowing i'd cry if I saw him drive off, I went inside, gently shutting the door behind me.

"Okay dad, you have to talk to me at some point." I went into the kitchen, he didn't even flinch, only paying attention to whatever was on the newspaper in hand.

I had school in an hour.

"Alexa, I have given you so much freedom and you do the one thing I said not to do."

Well.

"It's not like I was trying to do that. I was being safe it's not my fault." I whined, he looked up at me, red rimming his eyes.

There was one thing about Valentine's day.

It was my parent's holiday.

For as long as I could remember.

"I'm not in the mood to talk today, come back tomorrow." He mumbled, taking a sip of his coffee. I sighed, deciding to finally resort to the last thing I could think of.

I pulled out my ultrasound pictures, setting them in front of him, he looked up at me.

"Even though you're mad at me, that's your granddaughter or grandson, so I hope you're considering that." I cleared my throat, my dad took the photos into hand.

"She's big."

I nodded. "Yeah."

My brows furrowed, realizing the words that had came out of his mouth. "We don't know if it's a girl or a boy yet."

He shrugged, with a chuckle.

"It's a feeling."

That's what Tom said too.
