It sucks that Tom and I have separate lunches.

"So, Jaden?" I mentioned, the last time having heard of him was from Bill.

"Not all that." Abby mumbled.

"You don't even have the desire for a boyfriend? Lots of guys want you." I looked her up and down, she smiled.

"I'm not really looking for one, but if he were to fall into my lap... I wouldn't mind, but it's not like i'm actively searching for a boyfriend." Abby shrugged it off.

"My stupid boyfriend can't stop blowing up my phone." I whined, feeling another text.

A: I don't see any of the thirty-six messages you sent me, I think you're lying.

❤️:  i wanted to ask if yhu wanted to come over after school

A: Sure. But i'll be leaving early, because Abby is coming over.

I shut my phone off.

"What did he say?" Abby turned to me.

"He's being needy." I responded, sipping on my energy drink.

"Is that a good thing?"

I think.

"Yes, he could not care about me at all." I think this is better, he could be ignoring me.

"Why aren't you answering my texts?"

I felt myself being scooted down the bench, as he made space for himself to sit.

I cleared my throat, glancing at Tom.

"Because you're being annoying." I answered, he scoffed. "I am not annoying."

"Yes, you are." I gave him a 'really' look.

"No the fuck i'm not." Tom rested his hand on my knee, toying with my kneecaps.

"Alexa how was class? Alexa what did you eat? Alexa why are you ignoring me? Alexa stop ignoring me. Alexa i'm hard." I listed out some of what he'd sent me in the past hour.

"Well, they're all true, and valid."

"Why aren't you talking weird anymore?" Abby leant forward on her elbows.

"Alexa said if I talk how I usually talk, i'm not aloud to touch her." He glared at me.

"Ah." She nodded.
