A SEETHING fury replaced Ivory's initial shock. Her eyes burned with anger as she stormed out of her room, heading straight for Susan and Lucy. She found them in the parlor, discussing the latest wedding details.

"Susan! Lucy!" Ivory's voice was a mix of rage and determination, startling her friends. "The wedding is off. Everything is canceled."

Susan and Lucy exchanged worried glances. "Ivory, what happened?" Lucy asked, stepping closer to her.

Ivory shoved the letter into Susan's hand. "Read it. Just read it. That... that traitor, Edmund, has called off the wedding. He says he's met someone else."

Susan read the letter, her face growing paler with each word. "Ivory, there must be some mistake. This doesn't sound like Edmund at all."

"Well, it is," Ivory snapped. "It's his handwriting, his signature. I trusted him, and he betrayed me. He made me believe we had a future together."

Lucy reached out, trying to comfort Ivory. "Ivory, please calm down. Maybe there's more to this than we know."

"Calm down?" Ivory's voice was rising. "Calm down? How can I be calm when the man I loved just threw everything away like it meant nothing?"

She turned on her heel and marched towards the wedding planning room. "Cancel everything!" she commanded the planners. "There will be no wedding. It's over."

The planners looked at each other in shock, but Ivory's fury brooked no argument. They began dismantling the decorations and packing up the arrangements.

Susan and Lucy hurried after her, trying to intervene. "Ivory, please, let us help you. Don't do this in a fit of rage," Susan pleaded.

But Ivory was beyond reasoning. "I don't need help! I need to be rid of every reminder of that lying, two-faced... UGH!" She slammed a vase onto the floor, shattering it. "This is how I feel! Broken! Betrayed!"

"Ivory, please," Lucy said softly, tears in her eyes. "We're your friends. We want to help."

Ivory took a deep breath, her chest heaving with the effort to control her anger. "Fine. Help me by getting rid of every last piece of this wedding. I never want to see any of it again."

Susan and Lucy exchanged a pained look but nodded. They began assisting the planners in packing away the wedding items, all the while keeping an eye on their furious friend.

As Ivory watched them work, her anger didn't dissipate. Instead, it simmered beneath the surface, fueling her determination to move forward. She would not let Edmund's betrayal define her. She was a queen, and she would rise above this, no matter how much it hurt.
