THE SUN hung low on the horizon, casting a golden glow over the ruins of Cair Paravel as the five of them continued exploring. The sense of nostalgia and discovery filled the air.

Edmund bent down, examining the ground closely. "Catapults," he concluded.

Peter, standing a few steps away, looked puzzled. "What?"

Ivory rolled her eyes playfully. "It's what you use to launch big rocks at people, Peter. Surely you've heard of them."

Peter shot her a look but couldn't help but smile. "Very funny, Rory."

Edmund continued, his expression serious. "This didn't just happen. Cair Paravel was attacked."

Ivory's sarcastic demeanor faded for a moment, replaced by genuine admiration. "Impressive, Ed. Didn't know you were such an expert on siege warfare."

The boys ran over to a partially collapsed wall and started moving it, revealing a hidden door behind it. With a shared look of determination, they began breaking down the door. Peter tore off a piece of his shirt and wrapped it around a stick. "I don't suppose you have any matches in there, do you?" he asked, turning to Edmund.

"No... but would this help?" Edmund replied with a grin, pulling an electric torch out of his bag.

"You might've mentioned that a bit sooner!" Peter said, smiling as he took the flashlight.

They stepped inside, Edmund leading the way. The air was thick with dust and the smell of ancient stone. Lucy paused, her eyes widening as she saw the treasure chamber and their five chests below. "It's all here," she whispered in awe.

The group rushed down the stairs, each lost in their own thoughts. Ivory ran her fingers along the edge of her chest, memories flooding back.

As the group continued to explore the treasure chamber, Lucy pulled out a dress from her chest. She held it up, marveling at its size. "I was so tall," she said wistfully.

Ivory smiled at Lucy. "Well, you were older then."

Edmund couldn't resist adding his own comment. "As opposed to hundreds of years later... when you're younger."

Ivory rolled her eyes. "Ah, Narnia logic. Makes perfect sense if you don't think about it."

As Ivory examined her chest, she pulled out a dress, her swords, and then a ring that she vividly remembered all too well—her engagement ring. She stared at it for a long moment, deciding whether she should wear it or not.

Edmund noticed her hesitation and asked, "Thinking about putting it on?"

Ivory responded with a wry smile, "What, this old thing? It might still fit, but I don't know if it matches my new teenage wardrobe."

Edmund chuckled, but his eyes softened with understanding. Then he noticed a paper tucked in the box. "What's this?" he asked, reaching for it. "I don't remember putting any paper in the box."

Ivory quickly put the ring back in her chest. Just then, Susan interrupted, "My horn. I must've left it on my saddle the day we went back."

Peter slowly opened his chest, took out his sword, and drew it. He read the inscription aloud, "When Aslan bears his teeth, winter meets its death."

Lucy continued softly, "And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again." Her voice wavered with sadness. "Everyone we knew... Mr. Tumnus and the Beavers... they're all gone."
