A sigh left Devan's lips after his words, letting go of the boy's shoulders before rushing to the boy's bed, grabbing one of the suitcases that were there.
"You don't actually mean that... Do you?" Liam asks as Devan swung the thing open, grabbing a bunch of clothes, he meant it, he meant it wholeheartedly.
Why he meant it? He had not clue, he wouldn't really do this for just anyone, but clearly Liam wasn't ready to forgive Narcia, which he did not blame him for it, if time is what Liam needed, he'd do anything to help.
"I know this sounds crazy, and I am considering this mostly because you're... Well that doesn't matter." He says as he rushes over to the wardrobe, ripping everything he can out and into the suitcase.
"Devan, I'm tired-"
The cannibal snapped the suitcase shut, looking over to the younger boy, his features softening as he walked closer, placing the now full suitcase on it wheels, Liam had gone through a lot, he was bound to regret this decision, so all Devan could do, was be there to protect and support him no matter what.
"Believe me, mate. I understand your feelings, however, now is not the time for rest." He said as he took the boy's arm, pulling him out of the room.
"Devan what are you doing-"
"I told you I would help you flee, let me go get Matheo, then we will head to the airport, we can be in England within eight hours." He says as Liam halted, bitting his lips, he didn't know if he was ready to leave the country so fast.
To suddenly up and leave, would everything really be okay? How would they even hid his ears and tail, this would be near impossible at the airport security.
"Devan, look at me, how would I pass through the detectors?" Liam said softly as Devan turned, looking at him with worry as well, he could always use his dad's private plane, but then again, his father would know where they went.
"We will figure it out somehow." He says softly, quickly rushing the two out of the house and towards Matheo's parents home, knocking softly on the door as they wated outside.
The place had already begun reconstruction of the burned down houses and the barn, it relieved him, to know things were going for the better, the door soon opened to a sleepy Matheo, blinking in surprise at the visit.
"Oh, Liam.. I didn't expect to see you. Hey Devan~" He purred out, making the cannibal blush a bit as Liam rolled his eyes.
"We're leaving the pack, are you comming?" Liam quickly cut to the chase, Matheo's playful face soon turned to horror, his eyes glacing in panick to Devan.
"You aren't serious? I thought you said you would convince him to make up!?" Matheo suddenly yelled, Devan's eyes averting the boy, Liam did not like the fact that his bestfriends were now arguing because of him.
"I can go alone-"
"No you aren't, you have not shifted yet, Liam." Matheo quickly cut him off, Devan nodding in agreement before crossing his arms, bumping a bit into Liam.
"You don't even know how to use your scent." Devan followed, receiving an annoyed glare from the kitsune, his ears falling back before Matheo chuckled a bit.
"Your white fur started to turn orange a bit to match your hair." He chuckled out as Devan peaked, snorting as he covered his mouth, the fox not at all amused by their statement, of course his ears would turn orange to match his dreadful hair.
"Are we going to laugh about my fluff or are we going to conclude here?" Liam huffed out, his two friends looking at eachother before Matheo groaned.
"I see why you couldn't convince him... Fine, I am coming along. Just give me half an hour to gather my things." He finally agreed, a smile appearing on Liam's face as Matheo shut the door, leaving the two outside.
