Isha's POV
School got over with no more surprises. I haven't seen Ryan the entire day which is good.
'Hey, you ready', someone said in my ears.
'Yeah yeah', I looked behind and it was David.
'Lets go then', he pointed towards the exit.
'Umm, actually I have to wait for Anaya. I got something important. But I will be ready on time', I lie. I didn't have to meet her. I just wanted to be alone for a while.
'Sure, I will pick you then as decided.', he waved at me and left.
I turned back and hit my head on a hard yet soft surface. It was a human. I looked him, my body felt cold. I gulped. It was Ryan. I didn't want him to think that I looked surprised. His blue colored eyes always carried me away.
'Planning on a date huh?', he smirked.
'It's none of your business', I half yelled.
'Where he is taking you', he looked down.
'I have no idea. If I would know I wouldn't tell you anyway', my words were harsh.
' That son of a bitch doesn't have any other place to take you other than Artisans where literally every guy takes a girl', Of course he has taken girls there.
'Whatever he chooses will be great', indirectly I gave him a hint that am going out with him. His face turned red with anger.
'Sure Ish, good luck for that', he winked and left.
I kicked my foot on the locker, few people walking around stared at me. Why is he messing with my head.
I walked back home and threw my bag on bed. I still had more than an hour to get dressed. I took a shower after lying down on the bed for fifteen minutes. I wrapped myself in towel and came out of the bathroom. I chose a light blue square neck flared dress. It was simple and elegant. I put on my mascara and lip balm. I set my hair, left half the hair in front and rest on my back. I grabbed my purse and went out. My mom was still in the office so I left a note for her.
David arrived on time. His eyes lit when he saw me. I reminded myself that it wasn't a date and was nothing serious. I didn't want to be with anyone after what Ryan ruined between us. I was just hanging out with David who seemed a nice guy. I know I had a crush on him, but at times attractiveness is not always having crush. Sometimes who just get carried away by looks, but Ryan looked more handsome than him. I started comparing Ryan with David. Oh god.
'You look gorgeous', David said. His voice had a tone of excitement.
'Thank you. You look good too'.
I sat in the car. I could sense the perfume he had worn. It was similar to my dad's, but he applied in excess. The strong fragrance went straight into my nose, matching it ich. I felt like sneezing but it would be embarrassing. I tried to hold it back- I succeeded.
'Everything alright', he glanced at me. Probably he noticed me making faces.
'Yeah'
'Where are we going', it made me curious because I remember what Ryan said. I wanted to know if it's true.
' Artisans ', I choked on my breathe. I wanted to laugh.
'What, you don't like that place. We can go somewhere else', he gave a worried expression.
'No, am sorry. Lets go where you decided to. I haven't been there', Controlling my laughter.
'You sure?'
