Chapter 28

The alarm woke us up.

I got into the shower, shampooed my hair. I wanted to smell nice today. I got out and wore something which looks different from other days. I picked my favorite dress, which was a white colored dress, with a net pattern made across my waist, revealing my skin.

Anaya was in the shower from the past twenty minutes. I dried my hair, applied perfume and was waiting for Anaya to get out quick. I knocked twice, there was no response. I panicked. I knocked again...

"What, am coming out wait"

"Are you okay, something wrong?"

"No am fine, it's just my head started spinning real bad", she got out, I could see the steam making way into my room.

"You okay though?"

"Yeah am completely fine", I didn't believe her. I wanted to but something seemed odd. 

"What?", she caught me starring at her.

"Are you sure your fine? This has never happened with you."

"Am completely fine, come on", I decided to believe her but not completely.

We both were ready to leave, my mom dropped us both to school as it was my birthday.

"Happy birthday once again", Shrey came walking towards us. He was wearing a blue polo t shirt and black pants, his hair gelled. "Thank you"

"Shall we go then?", Anaya looked at me. I wanted to call Ryan and ask him where is he, I wanted to meet him first and show him my dress.

"Yeah, you guys go ahead, I'll join you guys", Anaya's expression changed. "Sure, boyfriend- first priority", I ignored.

"Bye guys", she rolled her eyes and started walking in opposite direction.

I dialed Ryan's number as I couldn't speak to him yesterday night, he picked the phone in next two rings.

"Babe, come outside", I started walking towards the exit, thinking what he got for me. 

There he was standing, wearing a  white t shirt, and black pants. It made him look much sexier. I tried to control the amount of blush I was having on my face after seeing him. His blue eyes were pinned on me, he examined me from top to bottom and took a deep breath.

"Are you having plans to give me wild thoughts about you?"

"Don't you have them already?"

"I don't think so. They can be much wilder than before", he winked.

"Is that so", I took a step towards him. 

"What are you doing?"

"Me?, just trying to make it much wilder", my face was close to his. Any moment our lips could touch, I couldn't resist. He placed his hands on my neck and pulled my face into his. Soon our lips met. It is exactly what I wanted. My hands pulled around his neck and pulled him closer.

After a few seconds we both moved away, panting and worried people around us were looking at us. 

"I think I need to get back to my classes", I didn't want to leave him and go. I hate the fact he is suspended for four days. Am angry and even guilty for what David did.

I started to walk in the opposite direction, when I heard him call my name out.

"Isha, wait", I turned back. I saw him get in the passenger seat of his car and find something. I wanted him to make it quick as I was getting late for my classes, I didn't want my teachers to give me detention on my birthday.

He came running towards me, he had a small box in his hand. I couldn't think what it might be.

"Turn around", he commanded and I turned around. A cold metallic thing touched my neck, when I looked at it, it was a chain cum necklace. It had a dance symbol as pendant. It was really beautiful. It was exact looking as my tattoo. The pendant was in blue color, it looked like sapphire, but I was pretty sure it wasn't that. He hooked it up, I would feel his warm breath on my neck.

"It's sapphire", he caught me analyzing it.

"What!", I shouted.

"Why did you buy such expensive gift for me?", I was surprised and happy.

"It's no big deal. It's you birthday", I didn't like people spending so much money on me. He could have given me a simple one. 

"I... I don't like people spending money on me"

"You didn't like my gift", he said after a pause. His voice cracked.

"No... I didn't mean it that way. Ofcourse I loved it, it's really beautiful. It's just you shouldn't have got something so expensive"

"It's fine, I got money and job. You deserve that"

"Thank you! I love it", I told him by looking at it.

"You did?", his eyes lit up. I nodded.

"There is a party today, Anaya has organized it. So will be going?"

"Hell yes", he shouted. I gave him a small kiss on his cheeks and walked in the opposite direction. I could feel the blood rising in my cheeks. He didn't say anything after the kiss. 

I walked into my class, there you go. The class had started. I opened the door and walked into the class.

"Ms. Harvey your late", shit.

"Am sorry, I just got caught up in something"

"Early in the morning?", I didn't know what to give in as an excuse.

"Yeah, it's my birthday I guess", I shrugged.

"Oh dear. Am sorry. Happy birthday to you", he walked towards me and gave me a hand shake. I smiled and walked back to my seat.

"Where the fuck were you?", Anaya whispered.

"Umm... With Ryan"

"I guessed it right."

I turned towards the board, and opened my books. "Are you having plans to give me wild thoughts about you?", his words were spinning around my head. I couldn't stop blushing over those words.
