Daniella's Pov
“What do you think?” I asked Javier's opinion when he came over to see his protrait that I was done with.
For the past one week, he's always here at the attic which is now a studio all thanks to him. Since I promised him a protrait as my appreciation gift to him, he's always here sitting like a model in front of me while I sketch him in my canvas.
It's been really amazing this couple of days because we end up talking about work and some old stuffs in our lives. It's like we grew to know each other more in just this short time. Surprisingly, I find Javier to be such a kind and sweet soul behind that whole facade.
“Hmm, I don't think my nose is that pointed. This here, is curved to one side.” He said, rubbing his chin with his scrutinizing gaze fixated at the painting of him.
“What? There is nothing wrong with it. It's exactly like your nose.” I objected, turning to him and using my paint brush to trace his nose.
I froze when I saw his nose now colored in green paint. Oh my goodness! I forgot the brush had some paint on it.
“What the..” His voice trailed off when he touched his nose and his fingers came away with some green.
I'm so dead. He'll surely start yelling and being arrogant.
“You did this on purpose, didn't you?” He said, pointing his index finger to me.
“What?” I blurted out. That wasn't the reaction I was expecting.
“You're dead.” He said, making me furrow my eyebrows at him.
What's his deal? What on earth is he talking about? He took one of my paint brush and dipped it in paint. Wait, does he want to do what I think he wants to do?
“We'll be even, once I apply this on you.” He said with a smirk, making my eyes go wide.
I took to my heels, he came after me. We kept running round the room. I couldn't help but laugh on how he's trying so hard to get me, I think he also found it funny because he's laughing too.
This is a beautiful moment. Watching him laugh so freely is one beautiful sight to behold. My heart couldn't help but skipped.

Victoria's Pov
“We'll be even, once I apply this on you.” Javier said.
The next thing I heard were running footsteps and then that bitch's giggles, followed by his laughter. I'm standing outside the so called studio attic, eavesdropping on their conversation.
For the past week now, I've noticed how Javier has been spending so much time in this place with Daniella and this is not a good sign. They seem to be enjoying each other's company.
Why didn't I see this coming?
I thought she won't be much of a problem, but I guess I'm wrong. I underestimated her too much.
What if Javier falls in love with her?
No, she's way out of Javier's league. The Javier I know can never fall for someone like her. I'm just overthinking this.
He only pities her, that's why he's done all this for her and tries to spend some time with her to make her feel happy and prepare her for her departure. I'm sure of that. But nevertheless, I still need to get her out of the house as soon as I can.
