"I just can't help myself!" I laugh, leaning back in the chair in the studio, six hours after I'd gotten there.

"You know, most people stop writing songs after they finalise an album," Sam laughs, uploading both of the songs to his drive.

"Yeah, but now when I do go on tour, I can whip out these as unreleased songs. Little surprise songs, if you like," I grin.

"Oh, so a tour is on the cards then?" Sam asks.

I nod my head. "Have I not told you yet? I'm so used to seeing you everyday and telling you everything I must've assumed I had. Blue Horizons have already organised it with venues, I'm announcing it tomorrow," I tell him, ecstatic with the news.

His mouth drops, then closes, then opens again before he's able to form any sort of coherent sentence. "Whaaaat?!"

I grin, unable to prevent the happiness from radiating out. It finally felt like things were all coming together.

"Yeah! October through to December. I'm a bit nervous that tickets are going on sale before the album is out, because what if no one wants to come? Or what if they hear the album and hate it?"

"I think they're going to love the album, Kenz. It's a work of art, and I'll definitely be there for every show, even if it breaks the bank," he laughs, stopping when I give him a look.

"Sam, if you think you're paying to come to my show, you're stupid. You're coming on tour with me — if you want to, obviously."

He looks at me incredulously. "You want me?"

"Man, are you actually stupid?" I laugh, scooting closer to him. "Course I do. There'd be no album without you, come on!"

His eyes start to tear up, and I think I'm about to be emotional, too, when there's a knock on the door, bringing us both to our senses.

It's Harry, and he peeks his head round the door.

He takes one look at Sam, then at me, and a small smile displays on his face. "Have you just told him about the tour?" He asks, walking in and perching behind my chair.

I nod my head. "I'm still waiting for him to accept my invitation to tour with me," I explain to him, and we both look at him, like two parents with a son.

He nods his head furiously. "Kenzie, I'd love nothing more!"

"Good, because I want you to be on stage with me. I've seen you play the drums, I want it to be you."

"Wait — you actually want me on the stage? To perform live?" He asks, now truly surprised.

"Of course I do. Blue Horizons are sorted out the rest of the band and how they're going to mix the tracks, but having you there was a non negotiable."

He leaps up, and hugs me tightly. "Kenzie Croft, I fucking love you," he says into my ear, and I laugh as I hug him back.

"Right back at you," I smile, and we stay that way for a little bit.

"Have you got an opening act?" He asks.

"Yeah. She's called Jessie, she's had a few songs go viral online, also signed to Blue Horizons. Should be meeting her in a few weeks," I explain.

We talk for a little while longer, before I realise that I actually have to go.

"I'll see you soon, promise. You should come round for dinner this week," I say to Sam.

"I'd love to. Message me and we'll sort it out," he promises, just as I leave the studio with Harry.

"Good studio session today?" He asks, holding my hand as we walk through the building.
