All of our friends were in Austria already, and I was now on my way to the airport to pick up Harry, and to bring him back to the hotel.

It hadn't been easy, coordinating everything for his birthday, but I knew it was going to be worth every second of stress.

I'd travelled alone, just me and my driver, and we were only around five minutes away from the airport now.

His plane had landed half an hour ago, and the last time I'd messaged him he had been waiting to grab his luggage.

He was staying until I had to fly to Ireland, but he would be with me for all of the England shows, including my home shows in Bristol.

We finally made it to the arrivals car park, and I text Harry to let him know.

Simultaneously, I also messaged the massive group chat of people that had travelled to surprise Harry, including two very dedicated Australians that were incredibly jet lagged.

Harry's bday!!

Just picking him up now!! Will be with you in under an hour

JJ

Vik
Yeah and she will

I turn my phone off after that, not wanting to spoil the surprise for Harry. I wanted it to be completely top secret.

As far as he was aware, everyone had an important shoot back in the UK. He was none the wiser.

I had his live location on, and I could see that he had just exited the building. He would be in my view in a matter of seconds.

"I'm just going to wait outside the car," I explain to the driver, already climbing out, waiting anxiously.

And then he rounded the corner, hauling along a suitcase and a determined look on his face that disappeared, and was replaced by a huge smile.

He picked up the pace, sprinting over towards me, his suitcase barely holding on as it was dragged behind him, then finally forgotten as both of his hands opted to hug me instead.

I didn't even have time to greet him with words, as his lips graced mine, the familiar rush of adrenaline coursing throughout my body.

"Mmh. I missed you," I just about manage, as he reluctantly pulls away, his face remaining close to mine.

"I missed you too. Wish I could've stayed, the shows were great. The outfits were, too," he smiled, quickly leaning down to pick up his suitcase. "I'm glad I'm spending my birthday in Austria. I've been here before and I loved it."

I give him a warm smile, holding onto the surprise that would hopefully create a new favourite memory of Austria.

His birthday present was ready, although I was a little nervous. It was something I'd been working on for a few weeks, using the limited free time I had on tour.
