"Hey Inosuke, did you eat the cake yesterday?" I asked, trying to sound casual even though my heart was racing.

Inosuke gulped nervously, his eyes darting around as if searching for an escape route. He attempted to divert the conversation, mumbling something about not being sure. I couldn't help but laugh at his awkward attempt. "It wasn't me... It was.. HIM yeah I saw him stuff that big fat cake in his mouth, she how big his mouth is!"

"What are you TALKING ABOUT!?!" he said.

I don't think Murata would have done something like that.

Suddenly, without warning, Inosuke turned and ran away, leaving me standing there feeling a mix of anger and amusement. Determined not to let him get away that easily, I chased after him, my yelling echoing through the schoolyard.

After school, I caught sight of Inosuke again. This time, he saw me and took off running as if he were being chased by a pack of wolves. I couldn't help but laugh at his antics, feeling affection towards the quirky boy who had captured my attention. As we both grew tired from our impromptu game of cat and mouse, Inosuke finally slowed down, his face a mask of confusion and frustration. "Why do you keep chasing me?" he yelled, his voice filled with a mix of exasperation and curiosity.I couldn't help but giggle at his perplexed expression as we both tumbled into the soft grass, our laughter mingling in the warm afternoon air. "This is strangely fun," I remarked, a hint of mischief in my voice.

Inosuke's eyes widened, his usual bravado giving way to a moment of vulnerability. "I like you!" he blurted out. My own cheeks grew warm as I blushed, feeling a rush of emotions swirling inside me. "So, are you going to ask me out?" I teased, trying to hide my own nervousness.Inosuke looked puzzled for a moment, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Ask you out? What does that mean?" he asked, his innocence endearing.

I looked at him. "I mean, take me out somewhere. Just the two us?" I suggested, a playful glint in my eyes.

Inosuke's face lit up with excitement. "Okay!" he exclaimed eagerly, though he seemed uncertain about where to take me. I sighed in mock exasperation but couldn't help but feel a sense of fondness towards the quirky boy who had managed to steal my heart in the most unexpected way.And so, as the sun began to dip below the horizon, Inosuke and I set off on a new adventure, our laughter floating on the breeze as we walked hand in hand into the unknown, our hearts filled with the promise of a budding romance. I whispered softly, "I like you too," sealing our newfound connection with a simple yet profound declaration of affection.
