When Mrs. O'Neil got you checked out, somehow you had nothing wrong with you anymore. No bone breaks, no lasting damage, nothing. It was all rapidly healing itself. You had said your hellos and goodbyes to Leo and Monty as you returned some testing equipment to the med bay. There was a lot of confusion while you scurried out of the room, going to exit the lair before anyone objected. You snuck to the manhole cover, somehow lifting it with ease.

Rubble and debris... looking like a jagged, rocky beach on a cloudy day. You thankfully knew that your and Montana's apartment was outside of the range of the destroyed buildings. As you tried to make your way home, you felt something tug at your heart, a feeling that was awful... As you tried to ignore all the brokenness and pain of the ruins of the city, you held your head high. It wasn't long before you scaled the fire escape and ignored your window...

"I'm not just going in there... They don't even know that I'm... well... that I'm okay...'' You think to yourself, trying to weigh your options. You settled on climbing to the roof, sitting on the edge as you began to reflect, which brings up too many questions and thoughts and feelings... and... It was too much...

I got bullied and excluded from everything in my school in Churchill Falls before moving to New York. I came to New York with my only friend. I began emotionally convincing her to steal with me. I found some guy who was flirty, smart, and he became a good challenge. He and I got to know each other. My snakes got mutated. I got bullied here by a purple haired bitch with family issues and even was kidnapped by her, then saved by my rival. I met my rival's sister, who became friends with my only friend. Additionally, I got kidnapped by an arachnid because of my rival.

I met a fox, a bunny, a lizard, and a goth/emo queen. I got kidnapped again, this time, by my rival's father. I was forced to kill a man. I almost beat a few other men to death. I became the right hand to some the criminals who had kidnapped me, but not the school bully. I moved away and started getting into trouble in school. I got shamed by my family for not caring about my grandmother, who I've never met in person for long enough to know her. I came back just in time to witness my rival being more accepted into my school than I was. I even saw Montana being his friend.

I happened to be in town for the alien invasion of a lifetime. I saw a few time travelers who claimed to by my kids. I heard that my nightmares were more than lucid dreams, rather glimpses into the future. I heard and saw the deaths of everyone I loved, feeling it and living it every night that I couldn't help but sleep. I helped fight the aliens after rushing into a portal to save the world. I almost died, being part in saving another life. I... should've...

"I-I should've fucking died..." You said, feeling a tear roll down your face. You buried your face in your knees as you hugged your legs to your chest. The crying was silent, but it was shocking how much you could cry...

The sight of blood splattering on your mask from the man you killed because you have no self control.

"Please... P-please stop..."

The sight of Montana getting hurt by your invention because you weren't smart enough to work out all the kinks first.

"Please..."

The sound of Leonardo getting his shell cracked in the Prison Dimension because you weren't strong enough.

"S-stop..."

The way your own blood trickled down your body because you were too weak and pathetic to defend yourself.

"P-please... P-p-please... Stop i-it..." You silently spoke between the sounds of your own hyperventilating. You heard everything too loudly... The cars on the street, the cleanup crews, the police officers and firemen on standby... It was so loud... You raised your hands to cover your ears, still shaking and crying into your knees.

"I-I'm j-u-just a k-kid... pl-please..." You sobbed, trying to be as quiet as possible. Just when you thought nothing could get worse, someone grabbed your shoulders. You stood, turning to punch them in a panic, but having your hand miss them completely. The person dodged, swaying down and popping back up. They didn't hit you, rather wrapped their arms around you, smashing their face into your shoulder and nuzzling into the crook of your neck...

"I was so scared... Don't just run off like that, Yellow..." That voice... Those hands... The nickname...

"T-Tello...?" You asked, feeling your heart beating out of your chest. The tears continue flowing as you hugged him back, feeling the cast around his torso and midsection. After pulling back you saw an annoyingly pitiful expression on his face... You didn't want to hurt him, but everything that had happened made you want to kill something just because of that stupid expression.

"You don't need to deal with this on your own... It's nothing that a normal person should have to face alone." He spoke softly, but unsurely. You didn't was to be so angry at him, but the talk he wants to give won't make this any better. There's no talk that anyone could give that would make any of this better.

"Normal? Normal?! Look at me! I just healed from fatal injuries in a few weeks! I'm not normal! Normal is a setting on the dryer! I can't have "normal"! You know that!"

"Why does it need to become a fight every time you open your mouth?! I'm trying to help! Oh, I'm sorry! I only thought that you not looking like a freak would be the closest thing to "normal"! I'll never be normal!" He retorted, causing you to shake your head and turn away.

"I-... I don't want to be mad at you... As soon as you're all healed up, meet me in the Hidden City."

"But-"

"-No. You will be there. I work there, I'll know. And bring your Bō. I want to fight and get it over with. It'll be no hard feelings, right?" You asked, offering to just fight and get straight to the point.

"No hard feelings."
