"Y/n?..." I ask, unable to understand how she saw out of Big Mama's hands. How did she make it here?- or there- or... how did she find me to technically save me from Baron?

"Yeah, plot twist, buddy in blue." She said, lightly swinging my swor-... Ōdachi. She seemed to enjoy the strange movement, repeating it a little bit. I continue to glare, reaching out for her to give it back.

"Oh you want your Ōdachi back? Sure, just don't lose it again or I will keep it." She said, looking at me properly with a glare as she tossed it at me. I catch it, fumbling it between my hands. She softly laughed at my near dropping of my weapon, using her weird safety gear and the chains of the daggers to dangle from someone's fire escape. I hold my sword upright, turning back to the wall we just were thrown through with the portal.

"I'm going back and dealing with Baron, don't try to be a hero, you're just a human gi-" As I walked to the wall I just smack into it, not going through the portal. "- What the?! Where's the portal?!" I shout, looking at the laughing girl.

"I- hahaha- I-I don't know. Haaa- you shoulda seen your face. Oh, right. I don't think there is a portal anymore."

"So you broke a portal to the Hidden City?"

"No no no. I think I used my daggers or your Ōdachi to accidentally open two different portals; One before we left the Hidden City which brought us to a different location in the Hidden City. And one that brought us from outside that other portal to this alleyway, capeesh?" She said, in an annoying tone. She quickly fixed her weird dagger chain, swinging herself back down onto the ground with a grimace. She didn't look very emotional as she did a mocking salute and went to leave me there as she heard the sound of my brothers.

"Leo!"

"Leo!"

"Leo!"

Three different tones, three different meanings. Donnie: clearly unemotional, didn't really care that they found me. Mikey: best lil bro in the whole world, genuinely wanted me to be safe. Raph: kinda worried, kinda mad... damn. And Y/n is walking away with her hands in her pockets... she dropped something?

"Guys I'm down here!..." I responded to their shouts. I pick up the weird pin-things, taking note that there's five of them. I wonder what they are... Didn't April's girlfriend have one or something? Wait, she stole these from the people of the Hidden City...

"Leo!" I hear Raph's voice and quietly hide the weird pin-things under my belt. I take a deep breath, turning to face him as Mikey jumps on me.

"Alright alright- Big hugs, I get it... I'm sorry I left without you gu-"

"Shut up." Donnie interrupted, pulling Mikey off of me and staring at me. He did a quick look up and down before slapping me.

"NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! DO YOU KNOW HOW STUPID THAT WAS?! YOU LEFT TO FIGHT ALL OF OUR HIDDEN CITY ENEMIES ALONE?! AND FOR WHAT NARDO?!" He screams at me, causing Raph to grab his shoulder gently and try to calm him down. I stare into the void, shocked that he'd ever put that much force into hitting me, I mean, I almost fell over.

"Ow! What the?! Donnie I left to get Y/n back! She is back! I got her out! I woulda thought you'd be happy!"

"I don't care why you left, I care that you left alone! You could've died there! I was locked up, trying to focus on anything but my responsibilities in my lab, unable to even think to check where you were! YOU MADE A STUPID DECISION! I WOULD HAVE DIED IF I THOUGHT THERE WAS A CHANCE THAT I'D LOSE YOU TOO!" Donnie shouted at me, now holding back tears. I realized what he meant... He was scared that they killed her and would do the same if they caught one of us and we didn't all work with them willingly...

"Donnie... Let's just get home..." Raph said, holding his shoulder again. I look away in shame, now with blood on my split lip. Damn he hit me hard.

"I'm sorry that I keep screwing up..." I apologized to Donnie as he began walking away. On our way home, Mikey told me some advice to let him figure things out alone for a while, then try to talk it out. I agreed on that idea, quietly responding as we made it back to the lair.

"Found him, pops." Raph said to our dad, who quickly turned in his chair, jumping up to come over and wack me upside the head with a newspaper.

"You are not Lou Jutsu! You do not go on solo missions to dangerous territories! Go to bed after cleaning yourself up!" My dad shouted as I nodded defeatedly. He quickly grabbed my hand, giving me a hug after tugging me down to his level.

"I am glad you came home safe, my son."

"Me too, pops..."

*Y/n's POV, brought to you by, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT SOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUP!*

I walk slowly with a soft limp towards Monty's apartment, feeling the warmth of the sun starting to fade. I grab out my phone, checking for those expensive pendant-pin-things... Only one?... I dropped the rest? What the... oh well, I can experiment on the one I still have. I put the pin back, calling Monty up.

"Y/N! Oh, hold up, where are you?! My parents just took Nat to her friends house, I'll come pick you up! You can stay here! I'm texting April right now! Are you in danger?! Donnie said if you called me that I should call him! Where are you Y/n?!" Monty hurriedly interrogated as I fell into hysterics.

"Monty, Monty. I'm fine, maybe limping and glowing and I might have some magic shit with me, but I'm fine. I'm actually right outside your apartment door as we-" I'm cut off by the sound of Monty slamming her door open, looking down the hall and seeming me limping towards her.

"HOLY! Y/N! YO- Your hands." Monty started shouting, then realized that not only am I in pain, we're also in an apartment complex, where she can have complaints sent in about noise.

"What about my-" I looked down after putting away my phone, seeing golden, glowing cracks in my skin. "- oh... I knew I was glowing... not that I was cracking... Segue. I have magic people openers." I continue, trying to play off everything.

"Y/n! Come on, you're hurt and this isn't a joke. Did someone help you escape that spider chick?- but that doesn't matter right now and you're probably hungry and I need to call Donnie." Monty's voice came quickly. Too quickly. I didn't even fully hear what she said by the time I was dragged into her apartment, to her bedroom.

"Gimme one second, I need to grab bandages and rubbing alcohol and text April that you found your way back and call Donnie and text my parents some excuse to keep them out for a little bit longer and- just wait a bit, okay?" Monty panicked as she rushed out of her bedroom, leaving me here to take off the extra fabric and leave myself in the outfit supplied by Big Mama.

"I know.... I will... Alright?... See ya then. Yep. Okay, yeah. Bye." I hear Monty from the other room as she hangs up the phone, I'm assuming. As she comes back into the room, I see a first aid kit in her hands.

"How'd it go Monty? Am I dying?" I ask sarcastically as she rushed over and hugged me...

"Monty..."

"Yeah?..."

"Thanks..."
