When you finally get to a specific point in your travels, the group comes to a stop in front of some grotesque-looking alien-bio-growth. It was obviously something that you and Donnie both complained about, saying that you'd both keep your disinfectant wipes and sprays for yourselves alone. While trying to ignore the blind optimism of Mikey and Monty, you hear their chimes of how they won't let anyone get hurt because they're "totally awesome mystic warriors".You made it only a short ways away from the Turtle-Tank before a... train attacked you...? It was obviously taken over by the alien-bio-growth, so it made sense that it looked so horrific. Alas, you find yourself trying to open a portal, seeming to fail as sparks fly from your side. Montana had also been trying to start up some sort of portal, seeming to have struck out as well.
Once you found yourself unable to open, start, or even try to swing to commence a portal, you see Donatello dive to protect his little brother. You were soon separated from him, Michelangelo, and Montana, now on a lower level of the tunnel with Casey and Leo.
"WHAT THE-"
"-THE FUCK WAS THAT, NARDO?!" You screamed at him, finishing what Casey would have wanted to say. He looked up, seemingly having a struggle to understand your words at first. You snapped your fingers at him, now not having your daggers because as you fell, the handles of your replacements broke. You used your Tech-Watch to call in your mystic daggers from Bruce as Leon tried to think of something to blab as an excuse.
"No! You know what?! You wanted to know what happens to your family?! They die!" Casey screamed, seeming to be genuinely hurt by Leo's lack of attempt in being a good role model.
"Wait... What?..." The blue-clad boy questioned, looking towards the disappointed human. You had been trying to fix up your (Technologically modified)backpack as it launched itself down to you. You grabbed out your mystic daggers and saw your mask... the one you wore in your first fight...
"They die, fighting the Kraang!" Casey shouted, showing disgust towards his old mentor.
"I see it at night. I watch as you directly defy Raphael's order and get him and my snake babies killed. I watch you take Donnie and Francis on a supply run, letting them get killed. I even watch as you let me, Montana, Mikey, my youngest baby; Harper, and Montana's first daughter; Hannah... They all die because you lost the key-" You take a step towards Leonardo as he tried to back himself up against the wall. "-Because you couldn't save the day. Because you were so self-centered that you couldn't see that you'd let everyone die. And you'd need to send back some kids who'll never have a real childhood."
As you spoke, Leo slumped, feeling a deep pain as Casey started climbing the rubble and you soon joined him. As he ran at the wall, you took note of his shoulder strength, acknowledging that it was likely your shoulder exercises that got him there. You didn't run at the wall, watching as Leon scales the rubble as well, making it to the top and staring a few words of encouragement before breaking down a vulnerable part of the wall.
While climbing, you tried to contact Monty to see if they were okay, not knowing weather they would be, considering that Donnie, last time you'd seen, was being pummeled by a TRAIN. As you made it to another location, likely within the Metro Tower, you heard something over your earpiece, sounding to be April's voice. Your thoughts are interrupted by someone trying to run up behind you, causing your immediate dash to a scrap of metal, as well as you jumping over whoever it was... It was Mikey trying to give you a hug...
As Mikey did some trick to get himself back onto his feet, he hugged Leo, soon dragging Donnie into the mix. Monty felt left out, so she gave April a familiar hug, while you hugged no one. After everything went quiet, you realized that one of the trackers you hacked was directly above you... Raph's tracker.
When his brothers went to work cutting him down, you felt an odd, sixth-sense coming on. You grabbed Donnie's shoulders as Raph woke, acting fast to attack his brothers. You hadn't been fast enough, being thrown along with your "rival" as everyone panicked. While a fight took place, you realized that the Kraang were likely causing the biggest problem on the roof.
As soon as you all had the opportunity, you attempted to formulate a plan of action. Leo ended up saying some random crap as you tried to check on Donatello's back. After zoning back in, you hear Donnie's retort to someone else's comment.
"Says the grandfather paradox, says physical determinism, says the space-time continuum." His robotic voice chimed in subtle annoyance while everyone tried to take in the words that you seemed to unnaturally understand effortlessly. While there was talk of Donnie apparently being completely wrong, you heard Leo start to stumble over his words before trying to correct his muttering.
"Ya know- Uh-"
"Bifurcated time branch?" You and the purple-masked boy spoke your inquiry at the same time, looking at each other for a moment. After both of you being mocked for being a couple of nerds, you focused as hard as you could on the idiot's words. He came to some conclusion with the help of the team, soon leading a question for Donnie.
"So, Donnie. Wanna ride a spaceship?" Leon spoke in a smooth, rather relaxed voice. It would have relaxed you if you didn't know that things would surely get worse somehow.
"Easily may be the greatest question I've ever been asked." He responded, seeming like he was almost drunk with love for the idea of using alien technology. You leaned towards him, soon muttering to him almost subconsciously.
"Wanna screw as an experiment if we don't die today?" You realized what you asked, pulling back with a look of self-loathing. He simply looked at you, seeming to be trying to control the deepening complexion of his cheeks.
"I-... Alright. My mind has been changed. Nardo had the second best question." Donnie mumbles, turning towards you and reaching out his hand. The team make their way towards the location of the Kraang, knowing that this'll be the end of everything, or the start of something better...
"Please be the start of something better..."
