I woke up in sweats. Like every night. I panted to catch my breathe. I tried taking deep breathes. I tried staying calm.
I had been visited by the same dream i always had. Night mare more like. I'd had it ever since...
I looked around the dark room. I stared at Annie bed for awhile and noticed she wasn't in it. I noticed the door creaked open.
I didn't really know where she had gone and i didn't really know why i cared. I patted down the hallway and found the toilets.
I was about to walk in when i banged into someone.
"Jesu-...Annie?" I squinted, the light was hurting my eyes. Annie was red in the face and her eyes were watery. "What are you doing up?"
"What are you doing up?" She repeated my question.
She fidgeted with her bracelets and didn't look me in the eyes. She played with ehr hair and looked guilty.
"Annie, what's going on?" I was getting restless. I really did not care about this so why did i feel bad if i didn't ask.
"I just felt too..full"
"Jesus Christ..." I rubbed my temples. It was too late for this. I was too tired to deal with this. I pushed hair back from my eyes and looked at her. I took her by the shoulders and looked directly into her eyes.
"You're fucked up Annie"I thought i might make her cry so i decided to go easier "You're...you're just making yourself sickier, you know that, right?"
"You're never gonna get better if you keep doing this shit. It's killing you and one day you're gonna wake up and realise they can't stop it...I explained to her.
"I don't want to feel full Paige" She said with a wobbly voice. I didn't really get eating disorders because i loved food but something in her voice spoke to me.
"Look, We're sick. Me and you. I'm fucked up and your messed up" I told her "But i figure no one will notice if we're good liars."
"I've been here for ages Pa-"
"I really don't care Annie. I don't!" I muttered "But i care about getting out of here. And so do you, right?"
"Right!"
"So, just stop doing what your doing, ok?" I looked at her for an answer "Just stop coming here and I'll stop being anti-social and they've got to let us out"
"Ok..." She said, and a small smile formed on her face.
"Now lets go, So i can sleep" I walked down the hall with the skinny girl walking close beside me. Practically skipping. "How'd you get out of the room anyway?"
"Reece"
"Course"

I decided to seat the beach out for obvious reasons. Reece being banned from anything fun wasn't allowed go. Carla also had a reason that i didn't know about.
We sat around the small wooden table, playing snakes and ladders. Every few minutes Reece would flip the board and we'd have to start again.
"I'm so bored" Reece moaned as a nurse past by us. She took no notice of him.
"Shut up, I've got a headache..." Carla crowed her head, squeezing her eyes shut.
"What are you on?"
Carla looked at me and sighed "Zoloft"
"Urgh, that's shit!"
"I know, right?"
