Chapter 9 hug

I sigh as I again sit on my bed of my apartment.

It's midnight now as the outside world seems to have slept. I get up tiredly and walk towards the window.

Cold breeze welcomes me in return. I started to think back to the events that happened today.

Flashback

My all mates settle down to eat as finn and Oliver place the food on table.

I was about to sit but suddenly,  my phone started to ring. I look at the caller ID to see mrs. Kelly.

I smile a little but I quickly return to my neutral face as I feel Noah's eyes on me.

I pick up the call but was greeted by her cracked voice.

" Alex-x.... " By her voice, it looks like she's crying.

" Auntie, you okay? What's wrong?" I asked, my voice full of concern.

I can feel my all mates eyes on me now but I don't care about it now as the person whom I love the most is crying.

" Alex-x... lia-a.. she-e.." I grip the phone a little tighter at the thought of lia.

Lia is the youngest daughter of mrs. Kelly and she's like a sister to me.

When I was there, she was the one who used to cheer me up. I love her a lot that if something happens to her, I don't know what I will do.

She's a important part of my life. " what happened to lia?? Is she okay?? Tell me!!" I said desperately. Hope she's fine.

" she had.. had an accident-t.... a-and she has lost a lot of blood-d, Doctor-r said if-f we... didn't find blood for her-r, she... she-e will.. will..." She didn't finish the sentence as she burst into tears.

I gulp down the lump in my throat as I understand what she's saying. I took a deep breath and try to keep my voice calm.

" where are you-u? "

I heard her sob a lot as she spoke.

" At-t xxx hospital, please come quickly-y."

" Don't worry auntie-e, I'm coming."
I said and hung up.

" is everything alright? " I heard finn asking me but right now,  I don't want to talk to anyone.

Lia, she's in hospital. I have to go to her.

Mrs. Kelly, she's alone. I can't leave them in this situation.

I start to look for my bag. I don't care who I'm with right now. I need to go, right now

I was pulled back by my arm. I try to yank it away but his grip was strong.

" leave me!!" I said as I struggle to get free.

" Not until you calm down and tell us what happened " kai said in his deep voice which I don't know why but has a very affect on me right now.

He turned me around to face him and keep me close to himself.

" Firstly calm down alex..." he said, his voice soft and it actually worked. I'm feeling a little calm now.
