I take a deep breath to calm myself.

My heart was beating all the time I was there.

I agreed for Alex's sake...

I expected atleast this much..

i was more worried for too much stuff..

thankfully it all was okay..

I again got a ding from my phone.

I pull it out and saw Dylan's messages.

"Dude!! Where are you??"

"Dudee!! You there??"

"It's urgent!!"

"Your dad is asking leo!! He doesn't know what to say"

"Where the hell are you?!"

"Come home quickly!!"

"He's been calling me since then!! Code red!!"

There were more messages but i ignore them.

I text back

"I was meeting with a client, took a while.."

He text back in a second.

"Seriously theo? Nevermind. Come quickly! Leo has called me for 100th time by now! You know how nervous he gets around your "dad" "

I just responded with a thumbs-up emoji and then put it back in my pocket.

I sit down, inside my car.

My eyes found the house in which i was a few moments ago.

I felt nostalgic... Old stuff...

I shake my head and then start the engine.

I continue to drive as a call came on my phone.

I roll my eyes in annoyance as i look at the caller id.

Dad... Seriously!

This old hag can't let me breathe in peace!

I connected my phone with the car and pick it up.

"...yes?"

"Theodore! In which fucking world you are in? Why you are not picking up!!"

I could hear the yell, too loud for my ears.

I hiss as i replied, "but I picked now, right?"

"Are you talking back to me?" His voice became lower, i know he's angry.

I also keep my voice cold now, indifference as i replied back.

"Is it something new? And I haven't even started talking back and you're already fired up... What will happen if I start to actually talk back?"
