I look up to see.... the new kid.
He lowered his hand which had gun.
I look at him and then at the man who's now on the ground.
There was blood all over coming from his head where he was shoot.
I quickly back away ,trembling.
I continue to look at the dead man, still trying to process.
I flinch a little when I felt someone hands cup my face.
My eyes widen as I felt the same sparks flow through me.
My body relaxing eventually as I look up at him.
" You-u... are-e... my... I mean.. ours.. this..." I said in shock as the new kid just smile at me through his mask.
" You look so cute, are you hurt anywhere?" He asked as his voice took a gentle tone.
He pull my chin up and start to examine my neck, he caresses my neck where the man putted the knife before.
" That bastard...." he mumbled as he look at the dead man.
He looks at me and was about to ask something but was cut off by a voice.
" Alex!!!! "
I look up to find my other mates rushing towards me.
Noah was the first one to hug me as I noticed the new kid take few steps back.
He hugged me tightly as all of them surrounded me.
" Thank goodness you're alright!!!" Noah said as I also wrap my arms around his neck.
" We were very worried when we saw that you didn't come in cafeteria!!" Liam said as knee down next to noah and hugged me.
We remain like this. Kai look at the dead man calmly.
After some time, I remember to tell them this new good news.
" Guys-s..." I back away from hug and look at them. " he-e... is our mate-e..."
I look at their faces to see them happy or... at least smile at this news but they just look down...
" Guys-s...? What's wrong? " I asked them as they didn't said anything and look down.
I look at the new kid for any reaction but now, his whole expression has been changed.
He's not looking sweet like before but... just blank. His face just... blank.
I look at all of them confused but soon, I was hit by realization.
Wait....
the meeting...
them warning me about the new kid....
their reactions when I talk about him....
that anger....
that sadness.....
They knew about him?
But before I can say anything, the new kid steps forward and lifts me up by my arm.
Once I'm fully stand, he left my arms and look at me.
" I know you're confused, allow me to clear your doubts "
I just nod in response as he just forwards his hand.
I grab his hand as I look at his face, still covered by mask.
" Very well Alex, My name is Theodore but you can call me Theo. I'm your new mate...."
He look at my mates as he continued.
" ....and their ex boyfriend or...... Should I say.... their " ex mate"?
