Alex is a 16 years old boy, he's orphan.
His parents left him on streets because they saw him as " burden" when he was 7.
He doesn't remember much about them but just few memories, which are not the happy ones though...

It's been an hour since we arrived at the mall. I'm just walking with liam or more like he's dragging me with himself by my arm.
It looks like he will buy this whole mall just in one day. I look at oliver and noah, who are struggling to walk with their hands full of shopping bags.
Kai and james are just walking quietly as they are the ones paying for everything. Finn also has bought few things.
And me? I'm doing nothing.
I don't know why I'm here, with them. I don't want to buy anything and especially with their money.
" Ahh!!" Liam explained happily as he walk towards a shop.
Literally, This is the 27th times that he has screamed happily, looking at different shops and right now, I literally feel like my ears are bleeding or either, I'm going to be deaf by his screaming.
We all walked inside and I look at the items they have.
There was colourful clothes, most likely light colours, some makeup stuff, some jewellery also like rings and lockets and other stuff.
Liam started to buy things as I move away from him a little and started to look at the products.
I look at each of them but what caught my attention was a locket. It looks like a snowflake but with pink gems. I look at it closely, it's looking so beautiful.

I was so busy in admiring it, that I didn't even notice that the salesman has come and looking at me.
" Sir, do you want to buy this?" He said sweetly. I snap out of my world and look at him.
" uh.. no, sorry" I said as I again hesitantly look at it one last time and moved away. I again walk towards my mates.
Liam is handing more bags to noah.
" Dear, I only have 2 hands not 4." Noah said as he try to grab the bags which liam was handing, no throwing at him.
" But I haven't explored half of the shops." Liam said as he again started to walk towards another shop.
" Alright guys, I think it's enough for today. We will buy more things next time."
Kai said as he took some bags from noah and same with james and Oliver. Liam pout but also agreed eventually.
" Guys, you pay for it. I want to take one more thing. I will be back quickly."
James said as he walk into the shop we were inside earlier.
They nod and I just look down. " alex did you buy anything? "
liam said as he hold my hand. " uhh.. I don't need anything so, no" I said as I walk forward.
" But why? "
" I don't feel like it and here is nothing that I want to buy though.... " I said, barely above a whisper.
" oh okay..." liam said as he started to play with my fingers. Kai was paying then james came.
" Here, I want this one." He said as he showed something to kai which was in his hand.
James said something in a whisper as kai looks at my way. I wonder what's he's saying. James nod.
I can tell everyone is confused as me except for kai and James. We all exit the mall and walk towards the car. I was stopped by James.
I look at him confused as he smiles softly. " Turn around " he said, not in commanding way.
" Why? " I asked confused.
" Just turn around Alex and close your eyes. " I didn't question him further and turn around.
To be honest, I'm a little nervous now. I close my eyes as I wait.
Suddenly I feel something cold against my skin, to be specific, around my neck.
It was something like metal.Shivers run down my body as the cold metal touch the sides of my neck and james pull me towards the car window.
I open my eyes and look at my reflection. My eyes widen as I touch the locket which I saw in the shop earlier and now is around my neck.
" How..." I said quietly.
" I saw you looking at it for so long, so I thought you like it and believe me, it's suits you. " james said as he wink at me.
" yes alex, it looks so beautiful on you." Liam said as he wrap his hands around my waist.
I'm happy that he gave me this but before I can think too much. I shake my head and start to open the locket.
" But... I don't want it. " I said as I try to open it.
I appreciate it but I didn't bought it with my money, it's theirs... I don't want any favours from them...
I open it and give it back to james. " I don't want it, I'm sorry. "
I said as I look down nervously.
James nod slightly and went to sit in the car without saying anything. Maybe he's hurt or upset because of me....
" Don't worry, it's alright. " Oliver said as he patted my shoulder as I continue to fidgeting with my fingers nervously.
After that, the ride was silent.
I should apologize to james but not now. I take a mental note as I look at him quietly.
