Author Note: Let me know what bonus chapter you would like to see that wasn't detailed in the story :)

You were seated on the singular red chair, observing the numerous ducks that adorned the room, as well as the pictures that decorated the walls. You smiled seeing pictures of Charlie when she was young, although the emo phase one made you chuckle and partially scared on what (D/N) was gonna be like as a teenager herself.

Lucifer took a seat opposite you, placing a tray with a teapot and two cups on the table.

"Thank you." You whispered. He smiled softly in response.

For a moment, it was silent as you quietly sipped your drink.

"Now... I know you haven't come here to visit me for more lessons, and you have never come to my home to just chat before." He paused for a moment.

"And you came to me... meaning this involves Alastor, doesn't it?" He then asked.

For a moment, you avoided eye contact until you met his gaze. "I... I can't say much." You whispered.

Lucifer furrowed his eyebrows.

"He made you make a deal with him, didn't he?"

You slowly nodded your head.

"That sly bastard..."

You looked at the king in surprise after hearing his comment.

"What deal did you make?" He then asked with a sigh.

"I can't tell anyone his... situation he's in."

"Hmm, well, he is the radio demon as I've been told, so I'm not surprised he's in a lot of trouble." He shrugged, taking a sip of his drink.

"Lilith is also at the hotel." You then added, making Lucifer spit out his drink in surprise.

"What in the holy hell did you just say?!" He shouted, seeing the clear shock expression on his face.

"You... didn't know she was here?" You questioned. "I thought you were keeping your distance from the hotel because... well.. she's... your ex-wife."

"I mean, yes, maybe I would have, still might..." Lucifer mumbled that last part. "But... she is Charlie mother." He then sighed.

"What happened?"

After posing the question, you instantly felt regretful.

"Ignore that, that's... personal." You whispered.

Lucifer gave you a reassuring smile.

"Depression happened, (Y/N) and... Lilith got fed up, so... she left, and I didn't fight for our marriage."

"Oh Luci... I'm so sorry. You... needed someone like how I had Alastor through mine..." You paused, feeling your heart ache.

"I allowed it to win and blamed myself for it, so I locked myself in here. When Charlie was old enough, she left to pursue her dream, and then Lilith vanished without informing me of her whereabouts. She did not do so before telling me that our marriage was finished."

Without giving it much thought, you took his hand in yours. "You should not feel guilty for what happened in the past. That is what is causing you internal conflict. You require someone to be there for you, considering your position as the ruler of Hell. Lilith thrived on power. And... I suppose Charlie simply perceived you as an absent father who was not there for her... which I can understand why she thinks that, but I also see your perspective... it is a complex situation, and I believe you should discuss it with Charlie. I do not want Lilith to influence her and turn her against you. You do not deserve that, and you do not deserve to lose your daughter like that to that bitch!" You suddenly snarled.
