"She's adorable, sweetheart. You both have done an excellent job in raising her," Maria remarked as you were spending quality time with your mother and daughter outside the hotel in the garden.

"Indeed, she is," you replied, smiling affectionately at your daughter.

"I'm happy you... got this (Y/N). Tara told me about how you and Alastor finally got together and married. She was expecting news on a grandchild but passed before she saw it happen herself."

You sat there silently, letting that sync in.

(D/N) was pushing a car toy along the floor, her little ears twitching every now and again.

"I'm glad I'm here, mother. I know it's not the ideal place, but no one here is fake and spreading fake happiness. It's scary and dangerous, yes, but with friends and a family. We got each other back."

"I can see this place means a lot to you. I'm just glad you got them (Y/N)."

"I'm glad to have them, mother. We are one big happy family." You then mentioned as you looked up at the Hazbin Hotel building with a gentle smile on your face.

Maria smiled at you as you finally found peace, as did she.

After spending the afternoon with your mother, you went to check on Alastor.

You found him in his office, attempting to work while Tara hovered over his shoulder. His ears were pinned back, and he appeared defeated as he let out a groan.

"Mama, I'm trying to work."

"Tired of your mother already?" She snorted.

"Of course not! It's just hard to finish it with you hovering over me like that!"

Tara let out a soft laugh at that before noticing you standing there. "Well, isn't it my favourite daughter-in-law!" She exclaimed with delight.

"She's your only daughter-in-law." Alastor remarked.

"And I hope it remains that way." Tara said in a stern yet gentle tone, giving her son a serious look.

"Mother, my heart holds a deep and exclusive affection for (Y/N) only."

"Makes me think you're demisexual." Tara said, you snickered at that as Alastor was lost.

"Demi- what now?"

"Then again, where I didn't see any grandchildren popping out before my death, I thought you were asexual." She shrugged.

"A what now?"

"Mama, I think you're confusing him." You chuckled, seeing Alastor facial expression.

"Keep up with the time, Alastor." His mother mocked.

"I will decline the offer." He stated, wrinkling his nose.

Tara chuckled softly at that before turning her attention to you. "How was your time with your mother?"

"Good, sad but good. A lot of things had felt like we settled some bits like her death and my father."

"Such an evil man." Tara said in disgust.

"Don't worry, I killed him. Again!" Alastor proudly said as Tara rolled her eyes, not giving him attention.

"She told me about you two and when it first started developing."

"It was confusing for us... especially in that era. You must have understood our fear by it. I didn't act on them when lover boy over here kept confessing his deep feelings to me about you. 'Mama, he stole her from me. She's gone'." Tara mimicked in a whiney tone.
