You made your way to your old room in the hotel to find Alastor there, leaving you two alone for a moment after the incident that occurred in the lobby.

Alastor stood by the window, his hands clasped behind his back, his gaze fixed on the infernal landscape of Hell.

As you assumed your position beside him, you observed his blank stare, his brows furrowed in a display of confusion.

"Al..." You spoke softly, placing a hand on his shoulder.

You felt relieved that he did not flinch from your touch as you were a little nervous that he might be afraid of you. No doubt he probably has some trauma from her.

"Over 90 years." He suddenly spoke. "And it takes a few months from her to make me feel powerless." He bitterly chuckled.

Alastor experienced a sense of vulnerability. In a different scenario, he would have dismissed that person without hesitation, maybe killing them for making him feel this way, for making him have a weakness.

He gently lowered his gaze and met your eyes.

However, he was unable to do so. You are his best friend, his spouse, and the mother of his child.

"I vowed to protect you, I always have when we were alive when men would prey on you. And now..." He paused for a moment.

"Alastor, I love that you have always been protective on me, but after finally finding my strength here in hell, embracing my powers. It has made me stronger, and it has made us stronger. Because with you by my side, we are going to be unstoppable Mr (L/N). No one can threaten you anymore, and no one can walk all over me without me putting up a fight. I know... I know it's gonna take you time to adjust to me being like this. But I am sick and tired of being seen as some weak pathetic woman who was a target to those disgusting vultures, a victim to being... raped. No one should ever have to go through what I did. No one. I still think about that day and get mad that I should have been stronger and stopped it..."

"Love... you were pregnant. Your body went into survival mode, protecting our daughter. You can't blame yourself..."

"I know, it's... in the past now. I just... want to move on from this. I know Lilith doing that to you in front of everyone has struck your ego a bit. But... don't let it get to you. Well, Angel might a little, but that's just Angel for you." You then teased as Alastor playfully rolled his eyes.

With a gentle smile, you embraced your husband, feeling a sense of warmth and affection. As Alastor's hands rested upon your shoulders, you exchanged a loving gaze with your husband.

"You are extraordinary, my dear wife." Alastor mumbled.

"Good." You smiled. "Now, may I have a kiss?" You pouted as he chuckled at that, leaning in as your lips met.

Your lips move together in perfect harmony.

Driven for that control after the thrilling experience, you suddenly pushed Alastor down onto the end of the bed, shocking the overlord as you climbed onto his lap.

"I was thinking that since we have some time alone together, it would be a good opportunity for us to celebrate as well."

"Oh?" Alastor said in an amused tone. "And what does my wife desire, hmm?"

"Well, Mr Radio Demon, I thought I'd take control considering you did enjoy it last time."

"Wanting to take more control, I see?" Alastor teased.
