You awoke with a gasp, your eyes adjusting to the unfamiliar surroundings. The environment was adorned in shades of white and gold, exuding an ethereal ambience.

"Alastor?" You uttered, your voice laced with uncertainty.

"No, no, no, no, no, no. Alastor!" you exclaimed, your voice rising in desperation. "NO!" You cried out, a plea for reversal. "Take me back! TAKE ME BACK!" You begged, your hands frantically grasping at the clouds, your mind teetering on the brink of despair.

"Uh... hello?"

You were startled by the unexpected voice and looked up to see a blonde man floating in the air.

"Hi! Welcome to heaven! I'm Saint Peter, and what is your name?" He asked with a radiant smile.

"H-h-eaven? I'm... in heaven? Oh no..." You choked out.

"I know it's... strange at first. But you are gonna love it here! Everyone gets reconnected with their loved ones, we have ice cream, a shopping mall, your own home!" He beamed.

You looked at him with a blank stare, "I just lost my life and got separated from my husband! Do I appear to be in the mood for ice cream?" You snapped.

Saint Peter offered a compassionate smile, as he was used to such reactions from those who arrived in heaven.

"I got it from here, Saint Peter." A woman's voice said, you noticed another angel flying down with her radiant smile.

"Greetings! new comer, I'm Sera, one of the Seraphim, and you are?"

You knew she held a higher rank somehow, just how she spoke.

"(Y/N)....(L/N)"

"Welcome, (Y/N)" she then looked to Saint Peter. "Do see if any relatives are here for her to see." She informed him. "Right on it." Saint Peter said as he flew away.

"I understand that this may be overwhelming, but please do not worry, you will adapt well to your new surroundings. Kindly follow me as I show you around." She indicated with a gentle gesture, and you followed cautiously.

Sera commenced a guided tour of the heavenly realm, which possessed an undeniable enchanting quality and an atmosphere of tranquillity. However, your heart yearned for the presence of Alastor.

"I take it your death wasn't an accident?" Sera hummed.

You slowly glanced at her before looking away. "I was killed in my home." was all you whispered. Sera eyes softened. "I'm sorry."

You lowered your head and continued walking.

"Sera, I have located a relative of (Y/N)," Saint Peter said.

"Thank you, Saint Peter."

Sera looked at you. "Shall we go see?" she asked.

As you nodded in agreement, knowing who that person would be.

Sera guided you through the heavenly streets, where a few houses were situated.

"We have arrived. I shall leave you to it. Please take care, (Y/N). I will converse with you soon." Sera departed, leaving you alone outside the house.

You gently approached the door and gave it a light knock.
