A mask of confidence worn, to hide the doubts within
A disguise of strength and courage, to conceal the fears and din
A heart that beats with uncertainty, a mind that's lost its way
A soul that longs for authenticity, in a world that's gone astray
The world sees only the exterior, the image I project
But beneath the façade, a different story unfolds, a heart that's inspect
A struggle to find my voice, to speak my truth aloud
A search for validation, to prove my worth and be proud
I ache to shed the disguise, to reveal my genuine face
To embrace my vulnerabilities, and let my true self take its place
To break free from the shackles, that bind me to the lie
To live unapologetically, and let my true self ignite
