As I awaken, to the dawn of my youth
I find the world before me, in all its truth
I see the beauty, the wonder, the strife
And know that I am ready, to take on life
I spread my wings, and let my spirit soar
I chase my dreams, and reach for more
I learn to embrace, the ups and downs of life
And find my own true path, my own true strife
I find my own true voice, my own true way
And emerge as a person, with a brighter day
I know that I am ready, to face the world outside
And make my mark, with a heart full of pride
