TO,
THE VILLAGE WHERE LIFE SEEMS SIMPLE.
As the sun shines light after hours of bright.
the countryside looks a wonderful sight.
The cattle return back from the grasslands
and their owner takes them to village tank.
The kids run, calling each other names ,
to play games amid the close lanes.
The mothers sit at the back door
chatting and doing some chore.
The old men gather and sit under the tree
at the village entrance with glee.
While the old women murmur a prayer
and thank god for taking everyone's care.
