Chapter 95

Nobodies Pov:

Leo and Chance were battling the choppy water, their muscles straining against the resistance. As they approached the shore, Leo's senses sharpened, and he could make out 4 miniature figures ahead. '4?' he thought, and it sparked bewilderment in his mind. Meanwhile, Chance focused intently on reaching the shore, his head bowed, eyes shut tightly, and arms fiercely propelling himself through the waves.

Jenna and the girls were impatiently footing around the sand, Jenna had her hand over her eyes to block the sunshine for her vision, As she glanced out at the water, she saw a kayak rapidly advancing toward them. Without taking her eyes off the approaching kayak, she reached out and tapped Jess on the shoulder, asking, "Is that them!?" Jess's face lit up with a smile as she, too, noticed the familiar dummies in the kayak. As soon as the other girls heard those words, they quickly gathered together to greet them.

Jenna's Pov:

I was exhilarated at the prospect of seeing Leo again, and my heart started racing at the thought. It's only been a few hours, but being in her presence is always such an electrifying experience. The kayak came to a rough stop, when Leo stood up, i saw Chance behind him almost in pieces, and i knew why. It brought a shiny smile to my lips, "Chance? you ok bud?" I asked with a giggle as he was catching his breath.

Leo started to speed walk towards me, and all i could think about was how amazing it was witnessing him under the spell of the moon from last night, and then now. I feel so special to have been part of that moment, it made my connection with them a lot stronger and my feelings for her only grew intense.

Leo's Pov:

I wasted no time getting up and out of that boat, right when i glanced at that short, beautifully tanned, smiley girl, my feet had just automatically been drawn to her. I heard her ask Chance if he was ok, and that's when it came to me, "Chance?" I turned to him quickly, he brought his gaze up to me.

His red, sweaty-looking face terrified me of how tired he must be, "Jessica" he spat out of breath, "That's not my name, but alright" i corrected with a small but warm smile, I extended my hand to help him up from the kayak so that he could then proceed to greet her.

Nobodies Pov:

Jessica's radiant face was adorned with an expression of uncontrolled affection as she eagerly anticipated reuniting with him following their unforgettable night together. The deep bond she felt with him invested her with an undeniable sense of joy and excitement. However as she was having all of these emotions come at her, feeling how important he had become to her, she realized one thing, how was she gonna tell him that she is pregnant?

Chance quickly made his way over to Jess, sensing that she seemed to be a little troubled. Despite the freckled boy not initially noticing her distress, he approached her and beamed a bright but shy smile at her, "Hey cutie" she grinned softly, "h-hi" he stuttered from being so flattered, excited, and exhausted.

Jessica went in for a big hug, but Chance stepped away, "Oh! I'm so sweaty right now- Y- you might not want, to... Do that" he stressfully told, Jessica gave him a fierce glance, and hugged him aggressively anyway. Chance melted into the embrace, feeling grateful that she didn't mind the dampness of his sweat.

Leo and Jenna had been hugging for the past 3 minutes. Alana watched them happily, while Claire looked on, but not with the same joy. Eventually, Leo and Jenna pulled away from each other but remained touching. Leo held her by the waist, and Jenna held both his shoulders.

Jenna's Pov:

God she looks amazing, the sweat droplets from the ends of her wolfcut, the scar that's shiny from the impact of the sun, The memory of those captivating hazel eyes locked onto mine, greeting me with a barely perceptible smile. "Hey," they spoke, and I responded with a cheerful "Hi" and a giggle.

"So, what's Claire doing here?" he raised a brow, i huffed and rolled my eyes at his question, feeling irritated that she was still here. "She just.. Joined" I answered in frustration, whilst sucking my teeth. Leo almost laughed at the situation, then he eyed her. "So she's coming with?" he appealed to, "Yup" i exhaled while nodding ironically.

"Hi, Leo!" Claire shouted. She actually did that? She has the nerve, to say hi. Leo took a sharp notice of her presence and nodded firmly with no expression whatsoever. I mentally smile at that. I gazed at the stupid blonde, i felt my knees get weak and my veins fire up. "Right, so should we start heading?" Chance hyped us up after he had had his cute little conversation with Jess.

"Finally, you love birds" Alana jestered, "so who's getting in with who?" Chance asked Leo since the boats only had two seats. "I'll take Jenna" Leo spat without hesitation and took me under his arm, i blushed and rubbed his back to show affection. "And I'll take this lovely lady here" Chance announced then held Jessica's hand up while helping her onto the boat.

As everyone took quick note of that, they all smiled. "Way to be smooth," Leo giggled, and I joked, "Such a gentleman," while I couldn't help but stare at Jess. She was smiling back at me with flushed cheeks. Alana's jaw had dropped in surprise. and Claire was, of course, confused, appearing a bit disgusted as well.

"Wait, can you two row?" i raised a question at Alana and Claire, "i can figure something out" Alana assured me while getting in her kayak, Claire didn't even know how to get in, this will go well. Leo was staring at Barbie trying not to laugh. I on the other hand was visibly giggling, because i didn't care. Jess and Chance were just giggling at each other and smiling, i felt a delighted fluster in my heart.

Slowly but surely we all started to row toward Mount Aso, Leo was swerving around and going really fast which was scaring me a bit, "Is this what you do in competition as well!?" i yelled over the smashing waves for him to hear, "Yes" he laughed, "Well cut it out I'm shitting my pants over here!" i taunted him, then splashed him.

He stopped rowing once the water i threw at him touched their back, and slowly turned to face me, i gathered my legs in fear, "You're dead" he warned me while nodding his head, he then took a big leap forward tackling both of us in the water, i screeched until my head was sunken, when i resurfaced, i shot an offended look his way.

"Are you crazy!?" i shrieked, he was having a laugh, and i huffed then started laughing myself. We were joyfully splashing and playfully wrestling in the refreshing water, thoroughly enjoying the warm sun on our skin. Our laughter echoed across the surface until we noticed Jess and Chance drawing near us. "Jenna!" Jess called to me, i paused and responded "yea?", she just laughed. "Did you guys fall!?" Chance almost had a stroke, "No no" Leo smiled at him.

That's when Jessica and Chance glanced at each other, shrugged, and then jumped in with us, As I witnessed their spontaneous decision, I couldn't help but exclaim in delight. It was truly wonderful to see how perfectly they complemented each other's energy. They were playfully splashing around and enjoying each other's company, which in turn filled both Leo and me with great joy.
