Lightning flashed across the mountaintop clearing, and two blades conducted the very blackish-yellow and blue electricity which flew at their wielders in a dangerous gamble. A combined effort to redirect the chimeric lightning resulted in the water pooling around one of the blades, a sickle, evaporating, leaving behind a cloud of foggy steam as its wielder stepped through. Beside the twisted, vampiric swordsman that was Hirano, Shimoda's aura morphed and forced back the lightning as it arced around his hand, and he too stepped through the steam. "Hirano... Sensei- You got taller." He said, giving his teacher a passing glance.

As the hourglass figure of the Chimera Geryon flicked its tail in the direction of the two fighters, Hirano's twisted limbs tensed up... whatever had happened to him, it seemed to be some form of incomplete, as his motions were restricted, almost pained as he took a combative stance. "And you've grown up it seems." The vampire grumbled before channeling glimmering water around his blade once again.

Beside his vampiric mentor, Shimoda's aura flared up once more, and he prepared for Geryon's incoming attack. He had seen the speed with which the monster had moved when it tore through Andrei's shoulder and kicked him away... this would have to be a defensive battle. "This won't be the last you've seen of it, Hirano." As Shimoda spoke now, his eyes glistened, and seemed to radiate that same purple light which his aura manifested as. "... We just need to finish what Andrei started."

While the two had a back and forth, Geryon hissed, and flesh tore on its back, sprouting two medium-sized wings, each crackling with voltaic black lightning, chimeric energy in its purest form. Before the two could prepare themselves for an attack in full, Geryon was coming right at them, seemingly flying now as its wings spread full, and its furry legs pushed off of the ground, leaving behind a trail of yellow and blue sparks.

Though the two humanoid fighters were caught off-guard, their newfound ally was not. From behind, Baka-Bayashi, the grey- and white-furred plump half-Chimera, found his place as their shield, his claws catching Geryon as it attempted to blitz them in an instant. Lightning scorched his stomach, though his thick fat kept him relatively safe. Shorter claws dug into his gut, and more energy surged into him with each slash, but his affinity to Lightning magic made sure that he was used to the feeling of electricity surging through his veins. "You... Leave my new friends alone, would you?!" He shouted, his eyes flashing a crimson-red, a signature sign of Chimera entering combat.

Picking the Chimera, who had inhabited the body of a seemingly teenaged girl, up by its lower torso, Bayashi roared with a feral might about him. His reaction and strength was enough to match Geryon in his surprise attack, even if he hadn't Installed himself, and as he lifted the monster into the air, his roar grew louder.

Hirano's form grew faster now as he adjusted to the discomfort of moving in his new body, and Shimoda's aura grew even more solid as he amplified his powers to match the new threat posed to him. Bayashi slammed the demon Geryon into the mountainous ground before them, leaving a crater where the beast's form was visible for a moment, until lightning struck, and Bayashi was stumbling backwards. "What the hell- You two, get back... this is too dangerous! Even together!"

Looking between one another, Hirano and Shimoda nodded, and then they lunged forwards at Geryon as its form began to descend from where it had uppercut Bayashi square across the jaw. Sickle and sword flashed as the two channeled their energy into attacks at the same time. Inhaling, Hirano's breath was as cold as the ice which built on his blade, and Shimoda's aura condensed around his weapon. "I don't believe we have a choice, Bayashi. Frost...-!" Hirano's voice became just as cold as his blood, or the ice on his fangs now as he spoke.

Shimoda's ki-infused blade left a trail of purple as he swung it forwards, his own movement now many times faster than that of a mere human. Fast enough to catch Geryon's exposed stomach. Hirano's attack now manifested between himself and Shimoda, a paper-thin disc of ice forming along the arc of his sickle. Throwing it forwards, he shouted. "-... Slicer!" alongside a second lunge, going in for a flurry of hefty, if not stiff slashes with his weapon.
